Everywhere I look, this word is being shouted from pillar-to-post....

GAY = BAD

Right? Or is that a load of CR@P???

Once and for all, being gay doesn't even make somebody "weird" or "unusual", and least of all "bad". The last time I looked at the statistics, the planet Earth was about 20% gay, and the ratio seems to be rising.

For anybody that wants to believe that I am gay myself...go ahead & believe whatever you want to. I assure you that I can & will debate principles that involve anything that I believe in...and personal freedom is one such issue.

But I'm not gay....thank GOD. Gay men are among the most-ridiculed class of people that have ever existed, all because their lifestyles don't conform to the demands of mainstream society.

But just because anybody is gay, doesn't mean that they are weak, stupid, or can't do good work, or make a valuable contribution to society.

I have nothing but respect for all the gay individuals in this world that stand up for themselves, and their beliefs.

People in this world worry too much about what other people do, when it doesn't affect them in the least.

I must say, like racism, I don't understand why people are so narrow minded. This is a bit of a generalisation but I think gay men are more balanced than your average heterosexual as they have both masculine and feminine qualities. I think it makes them more open minded and accepting of others as well as compassionate and loving. This is one of the reasons I get quite annoyed with the anti-gay adoption argument because I believe that gay men have equal, if not better qualities over heterosexual couples as there is often a more male/female role played but both parents have a bit of each so the child could turn to either no matter what.
Also, just because a man is in touch with his feminine side and shows his feelings doesn't make him gay. I think a straight man with a gay mans qualities is an ideal male but then that's just my opinion. I'd much rather be with a man with feminine qualities than some macho narrow minded wife beating type.

Hehehehe...we seem to be in complete agreement on this issue. Personally, I believe that everybody is born with aspects of BOTH sexes, ie. all men & women possess BOTH male & female qualities....even tho they may be supressed to a certain degree.

I'd say that men are typically more concerned with business, "war" strategy, and their "kingdoms".

Conversely, women seem to be more concerned with relationships, children, their appearance, and their social lives.

As far as gay MEN being "inferior" in any way to straight men, I'm pretty sure that I could find (in under an hour) smarter, stronger, better-looking, and more successful gay men than a lot of straight men, including myself.

It seems to me that the bias against gays is purely a religious issue, and I despise the practice of trying to FORCE counter-religious beliefs upon others, and trying to make them constitutional-LAW.
