Re: Holy Hell! I've been YouTube-d!
Tallyn, I sent that YouTube to my mom and Karla and said that I have a feeling that my child will be doing the same thing someday...

I don't know how to post a video like you guys do, but this link is awesome and the little "Love Advice from John & Just Blaze" at the end is funny.

I was at that show! Ah, it brings back such good memories. It took me a minute to realize it was what it was. Such good times.
p.s. It's really weird for me to listen/watch shows that I actually went to, but that was cool.
Re: Holy Hell! I've been YouTube-d!
Ah, no way! I didn't even think about someone being there when I saw it. That's really cool.
It took Jessie a minute to figure out CIR when he played it last year in Saratoga. In fact, she looked at me after I freaked out from the first chord and said, "What song is this?"
Re: Holy Hell! I've been YouTube-d!
Ahhh yeah he needs to bust it out electric for you to really have "experienced" it. I haven't seen it many times but each time, it's a killer. Not as killer as Gravity, though...
Speaking of...here's a "face-melting" Gravity solo on YouTube:
Elysium Ab Ovo Not only will I fire you,
I’ll rehire you, pull your hair & fire you again!

At least he has a sense of humor about all of this. It can't be easy being followed around like that - and in NYC of all places, where people typically don't care if some celeb is walking around. Paparazzi are different though.
I do wonder how many people he passed on the street thought he was being serious or if they misinterpreted things... "Yo man, I saw John Mayer walking around today & he was screaming into his cell phone, demanding a bus or a plane or something. Diva."
That street looks very familiar... Then again, a lot of city blocks do

That video is so crazy. I just like when his voice gets really passionate and then he hangs up and says "Hi" to the papparazzi.

Came across this tonight. CIR acoustic from the last tour. Too bad so many people are CHATTING during the song. Makes no sense. It seems managable until a girl says, "LOOK AT HIS SHOES!" and then proceeds to talk about taking a picture of them. "I GOT THE SHOES."
