Re: Gas in my oil?????????
I thought of that but I havn't started it for awhile, i'm just hoping its not something like a cracked block or something serious. thanx.
Re: Gas in my oil?????????
carb may be cracked. change the oil and let it sit for awhile after running. Like a few days, if the carb is dumping slowly the oil will have the gas again.

Re: Gas in my oil?????????
I doubt its major. I have had this twice in the past. My 340 Cuda Thermoquad had dirt in the float needle seat and it hung open slightly. It would flood the carb. If you drive then shut off and try to start the car would act as if it were flooded. I also had gas in oil. The other situation on my 691/2 was also a caburator issue. Just needed rebuild. Point is I would totally rebuild the carb as my first step. Good luck!
