General links
Post here your favorite links of a general nature, such as modern pictures which can be used for Mesopotamian contexts, artwork loosely focused on Mesopotamia, etc.

Re: General links
This link was sent to me by Dr. Bernard Butler of the thesis Jung, Individuation and the Goddess Inanna www.inannapaganqueen.com :

" If you wish to see a website with beautiful art-work which captures the spirit of the great Feline Goddesses, especially Inanna, please try

w3.trib.com/~sjlund
...
Anyway, enjoy!"

I did enjoy the site. Not so much ANE scientifically correct but visually stunning and in Spirit, yes, captures the joy, beauty and sheer power of Mesopotamian Goddesses.

For the astrologers and calendar experts
Got this from the ANE list of the University of Chicago, but it may be useful for those into astrology and ancient calendars and conversions into modern ones.
I quote:

Michael Banyai asked:

>>D oes anybody have a conversion tabella for Julian to Gregorian dates during the 17-th century BC handy? How big does the difference get between the two calendars about 1622 BC?(small DOS) program can still be downloaded at the link with the heading "the Astronomical forum new uploads section." I don't think J-C has an FTP site and makes use of compuserve forum libraries, which are accessible to the general public.

This may be the same one mentioned by Aayko Eyma. Verbeek was developing a Java applet upgrade, which may now be available at his site, but of that I am not sure (it may just be the code).

Phil Hineīs URL
Donīt know if I posted it already, but because I went to have a look at it just now, here it goes an outstanding link to the website of the only Chaos Magician I keep a regular look at...

www.phhine.ndirect.co.uk

Ninni, he has a section on Magickal Groups, which is excellent.

To my surprise, when I browsed the Dragon website, I found an old article of mine, a Recipe to work with Fairies, which I did in 1994! I used to be a Dragoness myself... together with Amanda and Caroline R of Talking Stick ;) I was one of the serious organizers and fundraisers ....

John, the book reviews in Phil Hineīs website still contain the review of your early book! :)

Enjoy your visit!
best,
Lishtar
