ShariAllen Registered User Posts: 1 (4/2/03 7:43 pm) Reply	Good Day Ladies Dear Ladies, I would like to introduce myself to you all. My name is Shari Allen, I am a homemaker. I am 44 years old, I will be 45 in September of this year. My husband and I have been married for 16 years, we have known each other for 22 years now, half of my lifetime. I have three children, Joshua 15, Sarah 13 and Jennifer 9. I live in rural eastern Utah on 5 acres of land, most overgrown with tumble weeds and bindweed. I have 3 milk goats, only one is milking right now, and I raise chickens for eggs. I am getting my seeds started for my garden now, my children have started lots of flower seeds so we will have a beautiful flower bed this summer. I love to sew and do other handcrafts. Crochet is my favorite handcraft and I do so want to learn how to Tat but so far the skill has not been developed. I recognize many of your names from other ladies and homemaking sites that I belong to, I hope that we can all become good friends here. Sincerely, Shari

We have lots of pictures from there.....SO beautiful! (Shuttle tatting) I understand how difficult it is to master at first, but keep at it – once you get it you can make all kinds of lovely things. My favorites are cross bookmarks. Well, thank you all for the kind welcome to the board. I think that I will learn many things from all of you. I have been enjoying reading the past posts and seeing what your interests are and what you are learning etc... Again, thank you for you warm welcome. We raise chickens for eggs, and just recently bought a bunch of chicks. Our goats (a mother and 1 1/2 year old baby) are Pigmy goats. They really are pets more than anything else. When the baby was born, we did milk the mother for a while, but she was SO stubborn. It took two of us to milk her, and she often spilt the milk. Plus, no one in my family really likes goat milk. So we stopped. Do you make anything out of your goat's milk? With love, Atlanta
