HO Racing in St. Louis
Hey guys,
Can anyone direct me to any HO racing action in the St. Louis area? I've just moved here from Southern California where I used to race magnet cars with a club call SCHOR - Southern California HO Racers (www.slotcars.org/schor/index.html). I've been racing for about a year now and as I said it's been magnet cars. I'm not opposed to racing T-Jets either though. I just want to race!!
I'm also beginning a project to build a 6'x16' 6-lane replica of Riverside International Raceway (the first 1:1 track I ever attended...at 6 years old). I will probably use Tomy track, but would love any feedback or input that the masses might offer.
Might try here. home.swbell.net/hopr/mahor.html
These guys are a state away in KC, but if you want to race with a great group, nothing like these guys.

Slotcarbob is right on about the guys in K.C. I live in Nebraska and travel down there for my regularly scheduled whoopin'.
In St. Louis, try getting in touch with Rich May in Floressant and Mike Kindler in St. Louis. Both of these guys are past national champs with their magnet cars. If you can lap with them, you can lap with anybody. When Rich is on a BB, he uses the handle 'bruteforceracing'. As for Mike, his handle is 'sidewinder'. Need any help getting in contact, drop me a line at LDThomas@aol.com.
Re: HO Racing in St. Louis
There is HO Slot Car Racing in Arnold, Missouri.
The place is called Didley's. It has three tracks with six lanes each.
It is located 5 minutes south of South County on off of Interstate 55.
Good Luck
Dave
PS There is also a Slot Car swap meet March 18th at Orlando Gardens.
