Harper & OCU
Anyone find it interesting that in the OCU release on Harper, his coaching record (overall & year-by-year) counts his wins during the 2002-2003 season, even though they forfeited all of the victories for that season because of their NCAA violations?

I would think if they school can't count them, the coach can't either.:o

Re: Harper & OCU
Does anyone find it interesting that there are 6 threads on the same topic?

Considering this board averages about two posts a day, no.

Re: Harper & OCU
Anyone find it odd that the AD at KWC resigned the day after Harper left for OCU???

Re: Harper & OCU
The effect is already starting to be seen at OCU with the "soon-to-be" new players that Harper is bringing in. He said that he would be bringing in 4-5 new guys to OCU and after seeing who was in today, it looks like times are starting to look like the early 90's around Abe's Arena.

There will be 2 new players coming in that are each 6'9. One of them has 3 semesters left while the other has 2 full years to play. It looks like the 2 guard slot will be filled by a 6'4 guard with a year left.

Can't release any names but DON'T be surprised if a few of his players from KWC don't end up here.

I guess that OCU will/has let down the image they were trying to portray at the beginning of their new coaching search because the kids in today are working on their 3rd or 4th college. The feeling around the campus over the last 48 hours is that OCU will do whatever it takes to win like they did with Johnson and Case.
like they did in the early 90's, and do whatever it takes.

Re: Happy Days at OCU
Yea, sure. NAIA is a basketball association of character. In this division you win with players that you can get to come and they might be transfers or home grown. Win at all cost is what it is all about.

Transfers from KWC to OCU?
Any news around the Oklahoma City University area about possible transfers from KWC to OCU? I haven't read anything but that doesn't mean there are not rumors.
