You speak about torture?? In the US and other countries it comes out in June. Unfortunately, I think it'll wait a little more to be released in Mexico. Ok, I think I'll do my best to order the English version by internet.

Grrrr, I somehow got it into my head that the book was coming out on May 4th (don't ask, I have no idea) and now I come, look at my own thread and am reminded that it is still over a month to go

Yeah, I'll admit it - I like reading the Harry Potter books They're so well-written! But that's all I have Potter-related: the books and the movie Anyway, can't wait 'til the fifth book...

Finally!
I love the Harry Potter books! I can't wait until the 5th one comes out. All this waiting...finally I'll know what's going to happen. I'm gald to see that everyone is as excited as I am! LoL!

I have a few posters from the second one, but I have lots of posters from all different movies (I have really boring walls)
The movies may not be up to expectations, but so far the books have been a great read... I'm curious to see if she keeps up the same style though, after all this book was made after her leap into the spotlight... I must say, I am a little nervous.

So, I obviously got my copy of HP last week... and I finished reading it the day after (like I could have put it down if I wanted to!)
Anyone else read it?

I was not very happy with the book...
No.1 Obviously killing off my fav. character didn't go down well!
No.2 I found that she changed her style of writing... I didn't feel it was very well written, though I'm not a professional critic, that's just my opinion. It seemed to basic maybe?
No.3 God was the ending a let down, I mean, we knew everything (or at least had a pretty fair idea) Dumbledore said to Harry at the end... what was the point? (Wow, you mean Harry actually has to kill Voldemort? never saw that coming!) It semed like a huge build up to nothing.
No.4 God I hate Cho, she drives me nuts, why couldn't JKR just kill her off instead?
I noticed it too, Vadas. But since the Spanish version paperback is not in Mexico yet, I downloaded it from Kazaa. And yes, I think there was a writing style change somehow, too. I actually thought it we were talking about a fake edition here.
They're so well-written! But that's all I have Potter-related: the books and the movie
