I think that's insane.First of all,Harry is not allowed to go straight to the headmaster of Hogwarts.Second,the next person to move up to Headmaster is probably Cornelus Fudge or Proffeser Lupin.(Lupin is coming back in Harry Potter 5.
Finally, why would Dumbledore leave?I bet he won't die.

Would the answer to your riddle be nothing? And on the topic of harry replacing Dumbledore, I think that Harry could easily be a furure Head master of hogwarts...but that wouldnt make a very interesting story would it. I think Harry will become an Auror or a carer of magical creatures.

It would be good if Dumbledore went to the Ministry. They realy do need someone to take charge more now that Vlodermort has returned to his power, even more than he had before. I think Harry would make a good arror, maybe head og Hogwarts later on, that we may never know.

I doubt Harry will become headmaster, but I think Dumbledore might die. It's so easy to imagine, and no one would miss such an opportunity to make the Wizard World threatened by Voldemort. If Dumbledore dies, Minerva will be likely to take his place, and if he dies, then it also makes the wizards realize how strong Voldemort really is. I doubt anyone would miss that chance to add more suspense and emotion to the story.
