Hello Ladies! I have a question, I would like to start wearing a headcovering all day. I would probebley wear a bandanna normally, I even bought a pattern so I would make them properly. :blush But here's the question: what is a nice way to do my long (middle of my back) curly hair??? Normally a braid is nice, but when I would like to go out, I would prefer some other options! In His Grip, Jenny

What is your reasoning for wearing a headcovering? I am wondering becasue I always believed it was the ladies long hair that is her covering.
As to the hair styles. I don't know how to explain it over the internet but I'll try. Here is one style. I know of more if the others don't have anything to say. Pull your hair back in a ponytail a little higher than the nape of your neck. Above the rubberband part your hair in the middle and try to flip all your hair through the top and down. If would lie you can hold your hair, take the band out and fasten a barette in its place. Oh do you understand that? Say so if you don't so maybe I can get pictures. ![]() Danielle Elizabeth Daughter to John and Jacqueline Big Sister to: Mark(13) Samantha(8 ) Lisa(6) Ruth(4) & Jack (2) Website |

Here's another pretty style similar to a regualr braid, but a little classie. I did it on my friend, whose hair is about your length, so it should work for you 1. Pull your hair back as though you were pulling it into a pony tail. Don't put a rubberband in it, just pull it back. 2. Divide it into 2 sections, while you're holding it back. This may take a little practice 3. Twist both sections seperately into 2 twists a short ways, then criss-cross them over each other, twist each section a little more, and then cross them , then twist and cross, and keep twisting and crossing till it's the legth you want. You have to keep it pretty taut, or it will unravel once you put a rubberband on. Fasten a rubberband quickly once you've finished. You can even sweep your hair up as though you're putting it a in a high ponytail, but do this instead. It's pretty either way, and stylish This website has good tips for braiding, and pictures too Blessings, Deb www.dreamweaverbraiding.c...g_Tips.htm Note from Titus 2 MinistryPlease use discernment when visiting this link. Danielle, Sorry I haven't replied sooner. I wear a headcovering in church, during worship. I have read, and studied 1 Cor:11. and the verse that stuck out the most to me was: "Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances as I deliver them to you."~1Cor 11:2 KJV. Here they use the word "Ordinances" but if you look in other translations, you'll see the word "traditions" instead. I believe that in Verse 15, which you refered to, means that her hair is her natural covering for man, while her other covering is for God. It says that we are "the glory of the man"~vs.7 So I believe that women should have two coverings. One for the Glory of man, and the other for the glory of God. I also think that it's not a big deal. I think it's a personal calling, or what you feel comfortable with. My Sister does not always wear a covering, yet she is still blessed. So I guess what i'm saying is that it is what's in your heart. Thank you for being so patient! ~Your Sister in Christ~ Jenny
