While Liz questions her future with Max, Kyle comes to a conclusion regarding Tess. Maria suspects Michael may be involved with someone else, and secretly investigates with Liz to find out. Alex and Isabel take the first step towards rebuilding their friendship.
This is a two-parter with "Cry My Name" as the second half. There is some info on this one in our Spoiler forum for those of you who want to know more. However, I will tell you that this one involves the prom. Can't wait to see it!!!
And now, ANOTHER month between "Off the Menu" and this one...what is going on here?!?!
Yesterday Maria asked director Lawrence Trilling to sign her poster. He seemed genuinely surprised. He said "you want ME to sign it?". Then he looked at it and said "it looks as if you've got most of them (meaning the actors)". He is very young looking to be a director. I would guess he's in his early to mid 30's.

Months and months
Hey, Neeners - isn't it hard to keep the fans interested and the ratings up if you show 2 new eps within a 2-month time frame? Sheesh It's okay - spring training is around the corner and at least there will be baseball to watch...
I guess the only good thing is that they will probably pack them in during May - hopefully getting some good sweeps numbers

Hey all! Just wanted to let you know I don't believe this one is a two-parter (as stated before)...First we heard that, then we heard it isn't. So, it may be, but I don't think so. Will update with more information/episode descriptions as they become available!

I'm still confused how they are going to pull off showing "Off The Menu" as the next to last ep for the season...but keeping faith that Jason Katims won't let us down. He wrote this one, will be a good one!

OK... just a bit confused here.. (yeah yeah.. whats new) how are they going to make what happens in Off The Menu work now that its been pushed back.. I mean there are things that happen in OTM that go with Heart of Mine.. hmmm this should be good at how they cover this one...

and on Matt Mantei's looks alone the Dbacks would be in first place!!!! I felt bad for Anderson last night... He needs a win to boost himself... I am going up to the game on the 29th for the fan photo day... He is supposed to be there along with all "main" players..

Hey there IMM
I was so excited that the D-backs game was on ESPN last night and I got to see BA pitch...I was excited for the first inning, that is... Poor guy. That's the way he is, though - either on fire or sucking big time! Did you hear Orel Hershiser say he was 'flaky'??? If I'm not mistaken, they were team mates at one point.
I don't have Missing, Monsters, the Convention or the Balance. I saw the Balance once, but I've never seen the others. If Brian were doing his stalking properly, he'd've known that.

I've been a baseball fan for many, many years and still follow it closely. I've been to many games, including World Series games (Dodgers in 1959), All Star Games (1959 and 1989), and many regular season games. I admit I haven't paid to see a game since I decided to boycott baseball after one of the strikes. I blamed both management and the players, who seemed to have the attitude "screw the fans, the vendors, the ticket takers and everyone else". But I have cheated, so to speak. My oldest son is a sportswriter and has covered the Angels since the late 1980's. He has got me into games free when I wanted to go, including the 1989 All Star game when Bo Jackson got things started with a home run.
This same son (Joe) played 8th grade basketball on a team with Cecil Fielder, who was briefly with the Indians toward the end of his career and when he was past his prime. Despite his bulk, Cecil was a great athlete in high school, when he was slimmer. His best sport was basketball, where he was an all state point guard. He also played quarterback and linebacker on the football team. He didn't play high school baseball until his junior year because he didn't like baseball at first. Knowing Cecil was a big advantage for Joe, when Cecil had the year he hit 50 home runs, because the media was after him all the time, but Cecil would talk to Joe while avoiding other writers.
I've not only deviated from Roswell here, but sort of from baseball. At least I answered your question.

Hey hey, I'm around, but it takes a lot of time to fly to Ohio to stalk Karen (I've never seen "Monsters" or "The Convention" either). Besides that I'm doing the bachelor thing right now and spend days at a time in a drunken heap.
Anyway, I don't like this switching of the schedule. I hope they can pull it off and it should be interesting to see them try. Put I sense a possible "Hybrid Chronicles" type of catastrophe. I hope I'm wrong but it just doesn't seem to make sense as to why in the world they are doing this. I could see maybe switching HOM & OTM. That way they could have the scene with Kyle & Tess and that would open the door for things that happen later. But pushing OTM back to the next to last episode doesn't make sense, at least not from what we know from the spoilers.

Well, if I knew how the hell to copy these tapes I would copy them for you guys.. but I have tried and it hasn't worked... Isn't the convention the one with Hubbell? Oh if it is.. it has my one of my favorite Jason Behr parts.. (AND NO BRIAN its not with Liz) For some reason I like Toy House.. I think Iz does a GREAT job in it... She does some real good emotional parts.. In The White Room when she dream walks Max.. Oh that one gets me everytime!!!

Ryal.. I too been following baseball.. but not as long as you... I think I was born a Yankee fan... and when Thurman Munson died... or was killed in the plane crash... My cousin and I felt the earth move from under us... I'll never forget that... Of course if I was born a Yankee fan.. then you know I was also born hating the Red Sox... ha ha... but I remember rooting for Yaz... what a guy he was... I think he was trying for his 3,000th hit.. it took for ever!

Re: Baseball and Roswell IMM, I was a Yankee fan for a while too. In the days of Mickey Mantle. When I was in the army stationed in New Jersey I went to a lot of Yankee games. Also to a few Giant and Dodger games, as they were in New York then. Servicement got a lot of freebies then. I saw these baseball games, the top Broadway plays, and the latest first run movies, all for free.

I can't believe you guys haven't seen "The Convetion"...it's a good one. Funny and dramatic. Bummer, IMM that you can't copy the tapes...I was actually going to ask you if you could. That's ok, though, I think I'm going to try to possibly buy all S1 eps (since I'm missing some myself) from someone who will sell/trade them over on FF. I don't really have anything to trade them so I'll probably end up buying them, if they'll do that. Since supposedly it's not allowed by the board--to mention the words buy/sell--since that would be against the law...reproducing to make a profit...you know that whole FBI warning thing at the beginning of tapes! Anyhoo, hope I can get them somewhere.

Brian, I completely agree with all you said about switching eps around. I could see OTM & HOM, but to throw OTM all the way til right before the finale?!?! I don't see how it'll flow either, from the spoilers I have read, but... As you said, will be interesting to see how it goes. I have read though that they did some reshoots of some scenes towards the end of shooting---possibly to adjust/fix some things in OTM to "fit" better in it's new place in the order??? Hmmm.... just hope we aren't let down.

Well, I will try to figure out the whole "how to copy tapes" thing. I have all eppys... I "bought" them... because I missed the first half of season one.. so I thought what the hell.. but the girl I got them from only charged for the cost of the tape, postage and probably a bit for her time.. but it was MUCH less then what some people charge...
I do have Heat wave, The Balance, The Toy House, Into the Woods, The UFO convention, and Blind Date on an extra tape. (my other one was cracked in the mail.. it still works but the girl went and made me another copy.. wasn't that nice of her) So... if Tina, Karen or... Brian. knows how to copy tapes... You may ummmm make your copy off of this one! Or pass it around... as long as I can get it back! and see... no one is making money.. and the only thing that it will cost you is time.. and postage to send it to the next person!!!
Think about it.. and I think Tina can get my email address cuz she is one of the "big shots" on this board..

Wow yeah, that would be cool. When I get settled back in New York I can hook up the VCRs and run off some copies, then distribute them amoung whoever wants one. Anyone on AE, that is, no stinkin' FF! I've got your email address around here somewhere, IMM, I'll get in touch with you about it later. I'm looking for any and all S1 eppys. My wife used to laugh at me because I watched "X-Files 90210" but now I've made a fan out of her. The only S1 ep she has seen is "Destiny" because that is the only one I have on tape.
Why doesn't JK release all the S1 episodes on VHS or DVD?!? I think they'd make him a tidy profit.
