akordeb ~Reminisce Member~ Posts: 1 (7/14/03 10:27 am) Reply	Hello I am new here. I just found this site from the Titus 2 Ministry site. What a wonderful site! I also love the Genteel Girlhood site. I am 44, have 3 step children, son-36, daughter-35, son-34. I also have two sons ages 23 and 24. And my two surprise gifts from the Lord my daughters. Ages 3 years and 9 months. I have been a Christian since I was a young girl. I can remember when I was in the 3rd grade, praying that God would "make" my Mom and Dad go to church. Well He answered my prayers and two years later they got saved! They used to let me go to Vacation Bible school at the little community church in our neighborhood, and also any time someone would give me a ride to church, I was allowed to go. I love quilting, gardening, home canning, counted cross stitch, sewing, decorating my home, and having "tea" with my 3 yr. old daughter. I am married to a wonderful husband who also loves the Lord. He is 17 years my senior, (hence the ages of our children.) We just celebrated our 9th anniversary last month. I guess that is about enough! Didn't mean to write a novel. I love to see the old ones too! lol My name Shannon, and I'm from a family of 15. I also love gardening! That is one of my favorite things to do! Another thing that I love are babies! I so look forward to sharing with you, here at the message board! I enjoy many of your hobbies too. The tea parties with your daughter sounds so sweet! What a great time to make memories! I remember my tea parties with Mom. In the fall and winter we still have our little tea parties. It's a special time to share. Normally, hot tea is a part of every single day around here, during the cooler months! I look forward to your posts! It's great to have you with us. Emilee Elizabeth
