Hijack in space... A large cargo shuttle departed from Von Braun, its hull towing three Messer type mobile suits, each one holding onto it as they were gently pulled through space along with the shuttle and its contents. Ahead and directly in the planned flightpath of the cargo shuttle, a large metal container simply floated before the shuttle. "That can't be good..." As the Messer pilots exchanged hurried comunications a beam saber punched through the outer wall of the container from the inside, cutting the large metal mobile suit container in half in a single clean swipe. "What the @#%$...gah! FIRE FIRE!" The messers opened fire with beam rifles and missile pods, continuing to fire even after they had lost sight of the contained in the explosion of missiles. "You have already lost..." The Leo space type had boosted backwards as the missiles and beams hit the Gundariu container he had purchased weals ago for this very occurance. The container had proved good cover and enough of a distraction to allow him to get near the shuttle without being shot on sight. The lone Leo raised up its dobergun and fired off a single shell towards one of the messers, the shot slamming into the cockpit armor and cracking the suit open like a lobster shell, the pilot getting sucked out into the coldness of space along with the air. "Shuttle Aries, shuttle Aries! This Messer unit comander Septum, get the shuttle out of here now!" The shuttles engines flared once more as the bulky ship flew forward and past the Leo. "This is not how I planned it..." The Leo pilot muttered softly. Begining a strafing motion the Leo pelted the two messers with fire from its 105mm rifle, peppering the second Messer and damaging its left leg and arm joints. "Time to Hurry this along." The Dober gun once more was raised and pointed towards the Messers, the injured one attempted to boost away, only to be grabed tightly by the commanding officers suit and used as a shield, dober round after dober round cracking the suit apart untill if exploded, pushing the commanders MS backwards. "Rookies..." The Leo 's sensor eye flashed brightly but instead the Leo simply turned around and exploded forward after the cargo ship, leaving the lone commander to explain why he had been unable to stop a single Leo in combat.--- END PART ONE...

With the small battle far behind them, the pilots of the shuttle let out a slight sigh of releif. They would soon be a the rendevous and would have a full escort of 20 Messer Type mobile suits to lead them to the final stop.
Ahead the leo floated almost in a bored manner before the Shuttle waiting for it to come into range. The Leo was noticed far to late by the pilots once again as it raised its dober and aimed for the cockpit. "Ahhhhh! its a LEO!" The Dober shell exploded the entire front of the shuttle inward, the bloody masses of flesh that used to be the pilots quickly getting sucked out into the vaccum as the Leo proceeded forward. --- The Leo's pilot floated through the ships cargo bay, looking around quickly through rows and rows of empty cargo containers untill he found what he was looking for. A large flatbed truck with a drab grey covering over it. "Epyon..." END PART TWO.

Re: Hijack in space... A small group of twelve Messer mobile suits floated around the now stationary shuttle in a almost nervous manner. "I aint going in there. You go!" "I have a higher rank than you! YOU GO!" "Will you idiots just shut up? Lets just torch the damned ship." The Messers opened fire on the ship with a hail of missiles from their respective missile pods, the ship rocking from blow after blow untill it finally exploded, the ship shooting out a hail of debri that smacked against most of the Messers, causing some damage to their paint jobs. "That takes care of...what the hell is that?" As the explosion began to die in the vaccum of space, the bright orange glow revealed the figure of a black and red MS, its glowing green eyes drawing the Messer pilots attention the most. "Its...its a Gundam! Fire! FIRE!" The Gundams eyes flashed brightly as the Messers all fired their beam rifles at the Gundam. Most of the shots being easily blocked by the large spinning heat rod on its left arm. "Your not needed here. Mankind has no need for YOU in outer space!" From a rather good distance away, two Messers watched the scene playing out before the in the distance. The Gundam was insanely fast, dodging and weaving through beam rifle shots like they offered little challenge. The Gundam had at one point ripped one of the Messers head's off with its unlit heat rod and beat anothers cockpit in with the very same head. The two Messers outside of the cobat zone exchanged a hurried glance and rocketed away as fast as they could, a line of four almost perfectly spherical explosions lighting up the background moments after the gundam had ignited its beam sword... END...

Re: Hijack in space... The debris and dust from the explosion remained a fairly dense could where one the shuttle had been. As the cloud slowly began to disperse towards the darkness of space, a figure drifted silently, a tattered cover on top of it. COMM: "Surely your skills are top notch." Said a young man's voice. A hand from beneath the cover grabbed the sheet and whipped it off. Their, in its purple and white armor, floated the Gundam Aesculapius. COMM: "You have had your fun with Messers. Now try your hand at the [i]cure[/i]." The Aesculapius drew out a beam sword and pointed it at the Epyon. With a burst from its 4 thrusters, it lunged. .oO Rule #1: Act as if you have the upper hand Oo. .oO Rule #2: Always keep your cool Oo. .oO Rule #3: Always leave your trump card for the end Oo. |

Re: Hijack in space... The Epyons eyes flashed brightly as i to accept the challenge from its brother suit. The Heat rod began to glow a deadly red color as the Epyon exploded forwad with a burst of speed equal to that of the Aes. "Get out of that Gundam, you dont deserve it!" The Epyon flung its left arm forward, kicking it heels up infont of its to bring the Epyon to a nearly full stop in less then a second. While the force nearly knocked the pilot cold, all the force went into launching the heatrod forward towards the Aesculpius's left side as the Epyons beam sword ignited to block the Aesculpius's own blade. >

Re: Hijack in space... The high torque thrusters blazed with light as the Aesulapius dodged down below the Epyon. COMM: "And you don't deserve yours!" Below the Epyon, the Aesculapius twisted to face below it, and with another burst, it lunged up towards the Epyon. The Epyon simply swung its left arm down, continuing the high power of its last heat rod attack as the ignited heat rods slashed downward towards the Aes's back as the Epyon flipped upside down and bursted downward, attemtping the spear the Aesclapius through the head with its beam sword. "No...I am a oldtype."

The quick maneuvre also allowed the gundam to efade the Epyon. With sword still out, the Aes made to slice up alongside the Epyon as it shot down. The beam sword of the Aesculapius tore into the Epyon's side, slicing it nearly in half as the blade passed through the cockpit, the heat and speed reflected the most in Corbens mind as he screamed out in the instant of his death. "AHHHHHHHH!!...what...?" In the split second it had taken the Epyon system to show Corben the way to absolute failure, it had shown him how to avoid it before it even happened. The Epyons beam sword ignited, growing from ten meters in length to 20 meters in a mere moment. Corben knocked the Aes beam sword away from its body as the Epyons vernirs fired savagely, fliping the Epyon right-side-up and stoping it so that it was face to face with the Aes. The Epyons eyes glowed a bright green much like its huge beam sword. With a flick of its left arm the shield retracted the heat rod. "Epyon...Epyon is telling me to defeat you..." Corbens pupils glowed brightly in recognition of his and the Epyons desire to fight. The loud and fast paced beeping inside the cockpit was ignored in the moment. "ANYONE THAT FIGHTS IN SPACE IS MY ENEMY! I will get rid of you all!" The Epyon slashed its beam sword forward, the heat rod exploding forward out of the shield to further draw the attention of the Aes pilot.

Re: Hijack in space... The Aes streaked to the Epyon's right, igniting the second beam sword to tangle it with Epyon's with the much larger sword. 27 seconds....>> COMM: "YOU ARE IN MY WAY!!" Re: Hijack in space... The Epyon kicked its heels forward, its vernirs blazing as it quickly pulled away from the Aesculapius. The Epyon seemed as if to stare out at the other suit, the large gem like sensor on its chest glowing with pulsating light. The beam sword flickered and then died as the Epyon de-ignited the sword and stored it away on the hip, leaving only the deadly heat rod as it floated serenely in zero gee. "You cannot defeat me or the Epyon."

"Aesculapius pilot Paris, stand down at once," came an eerily calm voice - certainly masculine, but not quite low enough. It was unsettling - the boy seemed to carry an air of uneasiness, repressed madness, even over the commlink. "Your attempt to reclaim our prototype is appreciated, but I will handle it from here."
From the blackness of space, came a deeper black. Zssa Kai, on full burn, painted regally in pitch black paint with golden trim and a red insignia - two "alpha" symbols - on the forehead. The beam rifle was at the ready, and inside the cockpit, Crono smirked bemusedly, calmly. It came to a halt a good five hundred meters from the Epyon; Crono, knowing some of the suit's capabilities, preferred to keep it at a distance at which he could react. "Most interesting," came the voice again. "I suppose I should have guarded the shipment myself if I wanted it done right. A lesson learned well. Pilot, your skills are admirable, but I'm afraid I must reclaim my suit. En guarde." The beam rifle was raised, aimed at the cockpit of the Epyon, and fired. Re: Hijack in space... The entire time the Zssa pilot spoke, the Epyon was looking over combat data at a lightning fast pace. "A Zssa variation. Target level confirmed. Comencing destruction." The Epyon simply spun the heat rod in a wide circle several times at a high pace, the beam deflecting off the heat rod as the Epyon exploded forward with intense speed, so strong was the acceleration that one of Corbens right ribs cracked under the strain, not that he noticed. "I will get rid of you all..."

Re: Hijack in space... Crono knew the basics of the Epyon system. "Best get this over with quick, before it compiles combat data on me," he murmured to himself. The Zssa shot upward, small pinpoints of light appearing as the two missiles he left behind shot forward at the approaching Epyon. The rapid-fire beam cannon and three-barrel beam cannon lit up space, beams raining down on the red-and-black suit, Crono regarding the entire situation with a cool head. "It appears to be already affecting your brain," he remarked over the comm. "Maybe you're not built for Epyon. Re: Hijack in space... The Epyon increased its speed and slammed directly into the missiles, the beam weapons fire disappearing into the firey explosion of light. It was only a instant or two before the Epyon exploded out of the cloud of fire, seemingly only with a few large scorch marks as is swung the Heat rod upward to grapple around the Zssa Kai's legs. "The Epyon was built for no one. Least of all you. It picks its own pilots."

Re: Hijack in space... "No machine is sentient, fool. You bore me." Crono's voice wavered - but only for a fraction of an instant. The heat rod lopped off the front of the Zssa's foot, but the rapid-fire beam cannon was brought to bear at the Epyon's head, releasing another hail of fire as the Zssa abruptly changed direction. Noting the damage to his suit, Crono shuddered, his voice changing - no longer cool, controlled adolescent but now with variances in pitch and timbre, now whispering then screaming... "But I could always make things more INTERESTING!" Two more missiles launched, coming in halfway between Epyon and the Zssa, colliding and exploding in full force - the blast and smoke obscuring view of the Zssa. But it wasn't for long - it shot through the quickly fading blast, beam saber in one hand, ignited, and the heat bayonet on the rapid-fire beam cannon fully engaged. "Let's see what you've got!" Re: Hijack in space... The Epyon spun gracefully as if he had known all along the attack was coming, the beam shots barely missing the Epyon as they flew past it."New combat data confirmed. Engaging target..." The Epyons beam sword flared into life as it brought it up to clash roughly against the Kai's beam saber. At the same time the heat rod cooled and de-ignited, Corben intent on using it to grapple as the heat rod flew forward to wrap around the Rapid fire cannon and rip it from the Kai's fingers.

Re: Hijack in space... The whip closed around the machine beam cannon's barrel - and the ignited gun spear. Crono tugged in the arm that held it, moving to pull the Epyon in, and released the weapon, the now free hand moving in to grasp the Epyon's head. The beam saber clashed with the beam sword, but the Zssa Kai was already moving inward, beam saber left well behind, an insane attempt to grapple evident - should it succeed, the Zssa would try to crush Epyon's head. Re: Hijack in space... The Epyons beam sword flashed off as it let go, using the clawed shield to attempt to stab the Zssa in the side as the epyon boosted forward, raising up its spiked legs to stab into the Zssa's chest.

Re: Hijack in space... Suddenly - the Zssa fragmented. The shield and leg made short work of the armor that was ejected, but the podlike thing that remained continued the Zssa's momentum, Crono lashing out with everything he had - the legs, which had become claws, lashed at Epyon's chest, and the manipulator arms even tried to tear away at the gundanium armor. ____________________________________ A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell. The Epyons chest sensor lit up brightly as the Epyons frame began to shift, the body twisting and ripping out of the pods grip as the Epyon quickly changed to MA mode, all its vernirs blazing as its pulled up and away from the Zssa, chaning back in the space above the pod as it pulled the rapid fire beam cannon into its left hand and began to fire down at the pod, the Epyon predicting the enemy movements as best it could as Corbens mind strained under the pressure. "I will...I will be the victor."
