Hootenholler Whiskey cake
1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs beaten 1 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp.salt 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/4 c. milk 1/4 c. molasses, unsulphured 1/4 tsp. baking soda 3/4 lb seedless raisins 2 c. pecans, chopped 1/2 c. Bourbon Whiskey Cream the butter with the sugar and add the beaten eggs. Mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and add to tbe butter mixture. Add the milk. Mix the soda into the molasses and add to the batter. Add the raisins, nuts and whiskey, Mix all ingredients well. Pour into a greased and floured 9" loaf pan. Bake at 300% for two hours.
