Re: How many '69 4 speed Triple Black Runners are out there?
X969, hi. I'm not sure if my car is clasified as a triple or double black. It's a 69-1/2 rm21 car black body, black interior with the lift-off black hood? The only true black rr I know about around me is a 383 4-speed hardtop. Now get this it's a quad-black car. Black body, black interior, black vinyl roof and air grabber with blacked out hood treatment. I have yet to see another one (altleast one that was factory). It came with some nice options too.

Is your car black too? I assume it is by your call name.

hi,the lift off hood isn't part of the color code, but his would be with black top, black int. and body, mine is triple black yes,and has it on the fender tag, also is a 4 speed w/A31 axle pkg.

We've got a 69 4-speed 383 car up here, but no vinyl top.
I don't honestly know if that's the origional color combo, but it sure looks nice with those old Cragar SS mags on it! Mmmmmm!
