How to get Mick Foley out of retirement.
Next week on RAW, Ric Flair should announce that there'll be a new nWo member who'll take out Austin.
At the night's end, we have some shocker of a bout between, say, Sean Stasiak in Austin. It ends with an nWo beatdown of Austin, (because, God knows we didn't get enough beatdowns during the nWo's overlong run in WCW), and Flair moves to introduce the new member.
He pulls a sock out of his pocket with an nWo logo to reveal that new member is Mick Foley's Mr. Socko.
Subsequently, Mick has to come out of retirement to fight to liberate his sock.
The way the nWo's built, he could probably go through them all in one commercial break.

I'd really like to see Foley return, if not to the ring, then at least to commentating, because the guy really cracks me up. There are very few *real* personalities in the WWF, so he would fill what I consider to be a vital niche, & one that definitely could use some filling.
While I'm not sure if you are actually visualizing Mr Socko REALLY joining the nWo, or just being funny, making an insulting statement about the nWo's general unfitness, I personally would find the scene that you just described to be hysterically funny, & I'm sure that Mick would have no problems pulling it off.
I'm getting sick of today's gimmicks getting center stage.

I'm for whatever it takes to get Foley back on the mic, as in his commish role. He and Snow had a great banter going with each other, not seen since the likes of Gorrilla Monsoon and the Brain. Bring back Foley!!! Put him on the stick, and show some of these clowns how to talk. The other guy that is completely wasted in a speaking capacity is Arn Anderson. Some of the absolute best interviews I've ever heard came out of Arn's mouth, now he just nods his head. Pitiful.

Was actually joking a bit with this original post, although it's something I would've done with the nWo during its run in WCW. Would've been great for Bischoff to publicly declare, "The nWo have signed a major WWF star" and come out with a sock, claming it to be Mr. Socko.
