How to start the epic quest.
I'm a lv 35 Iksar. (monk? gee, I wonder) I've been told by some friends to start doing my epic quest, but I have no idea how. None of them have ever played a monk, matter of fact, the only pure melee any of them have ever played is a warrior. Could someone give me a little bit of instruction on how to start the epic quest? I'd be greatly appreciative.

Hope keeps the defenders aloft, but courage keeps them in the fight.

Re: How to start the epic quest.
1st go to
eq.crgaming.com/
which is casterrealm, look up the monk epic.
You need to do the sash and head band quests at the two human monk guilds which is gonna be tricky for an Iksar.
Your gonna have to kill alotta gnolls and orcs to get good faction in Freeport and Qeynos, then there is monks in the guild to get faction with. The red sash you can get by killing a freeport monk. He is one of the two monks sparring out side. Just get faction so you can get past FP guards.
Throw something at the monks sparring they will come after you, also the red con monk standing near by, run away from the guild and FD, the red con will leave then kill the other monk and loot the red sash, you might wanna have some friends help at level 35. Getting the purple head band your gonna need faction in Qeynos and with the monk guild there.
Basically go live in Blackburrow for awhile, hehe.

There might be an alternative for Iksar monks but that I don;t know about.
