Human Monk VS. Iskar Monk

This is debatable depending on your play style.

Human's have an easier time traveling and banking all over, while Iksar takes a lot more work to be able to do so.

Iksar have the best starting zones areound, and with regen solo better.

Humans have better fists post 30, but are night blind while iksars do okay at night.

Humans have greater gear selections.

Personally I solo quite a bit so Iksar suits me, it you group mostly, or have a group you will be workign with, then go with whichever goes best with them (good vs evil).

Sure they can bank in Felwithe, but who cares when we do Velious all the time anyway. 2: Iksars These have 1)better stats, 2) better inate abilities. If you ever plan to reach lvl 50+, go for iksar all the way. They are much much much better in the end game. Who cares how long time it took to reach 60, when you are there. Iksars are So kick ass, that human monks felt "nerfed" when they made iksar monks...Thats how good they are. Iksars do have beter stats...including AC, a special iksar gift. They swim good...only bad thing is facton w/ most places. But yeah...I'm only lv. 11 but i do know lotsa stuff...so just...send me a tell on the lanys t'vyl server...if yo are on it.
kidkaotik Monk Posts: 1 (11/5/01 10:43 pm) Reply	human vs iksar i would have to say it's a tossup....each has it's own benefits.... 1) human - lvl faster, can go to most places, can wear more and better types of equiptment, and best of all, damage output is significantly higher, blind at nite 2) iksar - hp bonus, regen, 100 swimming, and awesome starting zone. oh yeah, and can see at night, restricted gear yeah, i'd say that iksar is better solo than human, but w/ good equiptment, the damage output of a human will outrank, so it's still a tossup. i don't think this post helped any, but perhaps it just clarified things a bit. all in all, choose what you like and what you're good with

For that matter, once you use any weapon other than your fists theres no difference. It esentially comes down to AC/regen/vision.
