I need some advice
hello im new to the sport and im interested in knife hunting boars....if you guys could give me some more info on this method of hunting and some other methods and weapons to use that would be great!....another thing is some good breeds of cur I can use, ive heard the black mouth is a hell of a dog...thanks

black mouths are my pick awesome dogs. but i have seen some dogs that i didnt know what they were hunt better than anything else.

What breed
I still haven't found the perfect dog but so far a Catahoula with a touch of Plott is my pick. The Black mouths I've hunted with were to short range and didn't have enough stay to keep after a running hog and stop him. That's just my experience though, I know there are a lot of good ones out there.
what breed
the best i have seen around here was a catahula -bulldog mix.that dog put a pit to shame and never would back off the hog.the boar ripped at his vest several times but he never flinched
