I'm Not Like You
I'm not like you;
I hate to cry.
I'm not like you;
there is no soul behind my eye.
I'm not like you;
I hate to look and touch.
I'm not like you;
I hate to lean on you as if you were my crutch.
I'm not like you;
I wish to die.
I'm not like you;
if I said I were, it'd be a lie.
I'm not like you;
pain is the only thing I deserve.
I'm not like you;
that @#%$ up god of yours I will not serve.
And now you know, you stupid @#%$.
I'm not like you;
what horrid luck.
The hate for myself over powers my hate for you.
So I bring up the blade, do you know what I will do?
-Tell me what you think. I'd really appreciate it.
-I stare up at the starry sky,
the only question I ask is why.
I recieve no answer so I give up the fight.
I'll ask again tomorrow night.
I think its good and has a nice rhyme to it but it just feels alittle repetitive, I know its supposed to but it follows what you expect it to do and doesnt change dramatically at the end....
but still I think its good, just ignore me if you like.

Re: I'm Not Like You
wow, that is definately intense shite. And i really understand your message behind it. People constanly trying to change who you are to better suit them, and being totally blind to who you are and what you really need. Sometimes it is just to be left alone, yet they are too busy trying to be someone's dictator and "hero" that they total miss the point. good shite

Re: I'm Not Like You
I like the idea behind it and how it ends, but the rhyme scheme sounds forced, almost to the point of cliche. Otherwise, a decent piece of writing.
