Immortality is Pain A moon in the night Drifts on clouds A soul is lost With senses sharp No comfort is near For the creature to seek Cries of pain Strike the ears Another is dead In the light of night The thirst forever unquenched And a loneliness forever unmatched Requests of impure heart Reaches a life of beauty None are near to see None are near to hear The laugh of a hiss And the plea of a demand Another soul rises To join The Children of the Night In an undying quest Of immortality And pain Ever Silent, Ever Wandering SilantWanderer |
