Info on 216th ORD HM (F.A.), Camp Campbell, KY 1944
In my research i have found a photo of my grandfather. It is a group of men (about 125 men) in what appears to be his company photo. On the bottom of the photo it reads:

216th ORD HM (F.A.) Camp Campbell, KY 1944
CMDG John W. Luckhardt

Can anyone help me with the abbreviations and explain what this company was and did?
