WKBarr Registered User Posts: 1 (8/13/06 10:03 am) Reply	Info on 290th Company K- John W. Nelson My grandfathers military records were destroyed in a fire at the national archives in 1973. All I have been able to find is that he was assigned to the 75th Inf, 290th, Co K. His name was John Nelson, from Baltimore, MD, and was a Truck Driver, Heavy. With my little knowledge of the army, i'm finding it hard to piece together his history. I would greatly appreciate any help and guidance in finding out more about what he and his company did overseas and possibly contacting anyone who may have known him or been in his company Edited by: WKBarr at: 8/13/06 10:15 am
