 Inside Activities for Teen BoysHello again! I know this is a site for Girls, but I have a 13 y.o. brother who is in want of an inside activity for the summer. Normally we have both the computer and the movies, (we don't watch t.v.) but we have a new rule that we can't do these things until after dusk,(night time) anyway, I sew, or weave, my mom knits, my sister normally goes to bed (She's working for University tuition) and my brother needs some ideas badly, so I thought you creative geniuses could help me out a bit! Jenny,
After talking with my 12 y.o. brother I have a couple of suggestions: Reading . . . . he really likes G.A. Henty.Also,'Cabin on the Prairie' and 'Cabin in the Northwoods' from Mantle Ministries.Christian Liberty Press has some good biographies and historical fiction.The 'Leaders in Action' biographies are also very good for boys.Trey also recommends Robert Louis Stevenson's 'Kidnapped' and 'Treasure Island'. Another thing my brothers enjoy is listening to casstte tapes.They like 'Adventures in Odyssey' from Focus on the Family (which are Christian radio dramas) and 'Your Story Hour' (true stories about heroes in history,such as Louis Pasteur and George Washington Carver). Re: Inside Activities for Teen Boys My brother likes to build things. Usings K-nex or Legos. Or even wood! He also has the henty series. I will ask him what else he likes to do inside and get back to you.

Re: Inside Activities for Teen Boys Those are great Ideas! We also listen to "Odyssey" tapes, though we generally save them for car trips...I really never thought of listening to them inside,,silly isn't it?! Jon (my brother) loves Henty's too! Thanks alot! ~Jenny
