i like the episode, and it focuses a LOT on isabel and jesse. kivar actually isn't kivar. hint: puppet. as u all know, max and michael follow jesse and iz's honeymoon in california. i forgot wat the city is called, it sounds like a weird name though. liz investigates on phillip evan's thing with max. mr. evans keeps questioning liz's dad and liz later follows them. i wont tell any more because u guys probably dont want me to tell anymore because this isnt the spoiler page after all.

It wasn't half as good as I thought it was going to be!
As for Jessie I finally have my opinion of him,
I think he is an over dramatic wimp . Is. gets it right when she imagines how he would react to the truth. If he (jessie)
doesn't toughen up he is going to ruin the show. Just my opinion,but when there is a scene with him in it I find it time to go to the washroom or to the kitchen. Hope next week is better!!!!Edited by: lizadawn at: 11/19/01 11:09:40 pm

WOW! I loved this epsiode. Very fast past and eventful. I will come back later and psot more about it after I watch the second showing. GOTTA LOVE SATELLITE!
Last week I moved closer to my family. Now they stop over...when Roswell is starting So, thank God for VHS!
Just some thoughts:
* I love Michael's new attitude. Instead of jumping right into the next crisis, he wanted to scuba dive and relax instead. I wonder if they did? Funny comment about Max and Liz brooding together later
* I feel sorry for Jesse. Adam Rodriguez plays his cluelessness perfectly. I felt horrible when Isabel locked him in the bathroom so she could go meet Khivar. Something tells me this relationship can only end badly.
* My brother had stopped by right at the beginning and when Kyle was asking Isabel if she told them that Khivar was there, the brother looked at me and said, "Is that that Slater guy? He sure sounds like him." I guess I've gotten used to Kyle sounding like that.
* Speaking of which, when Liz called Max ("Do you know the meaning of vibrate?" Michael had the lines tonight!) did anyone notice that Kyle seemed a tad preoccupied with Iz's well-being? Hmm....
* I was glad to see that Mr E had identified the absense of the jeep as a question in Max's life. I was wondering how Max explained that, and obviously he never has. In fact, it's great to see someone finally asking what is going on with him. And why does it seem that Max is the one in question and not Isabel and Michael? It seems that Max's reserved, conservative nature has put up the red flag while Michael's past recklessness hasn't caused him much harm at all. Interesting.
* The alcohol thing bothers me. Can aliens now drink alcohol? There was champagne at the wedding (which all of them were too young to drink, BTW) and then in the honeymoon suite. True, we never saw Iz drink any of it, but still.
* I almost jumped for joy when Mr E called Jim "Sheriff." That's where he needs to be - back as Sheriff and away from the hillbilly band.
Next week looks interesting. Poor Mikey losing control of his powers! I like that his emotions dictate that.
Not a bad ep, but I wish they wouldn't center so many stories around Isabel. I don't feel like she is a strong character (not Katie's fault) and having back to back eps focused on her is a bit much. But, it's still better than any of THCrap was, so who am I to complain?

i really enjoyed this episode and found myself laughing hysterically at the majority of mike's lines!!! for example "i'm gonna print up a shirt... WE'RE GONNA KILL THE GUY" or something along those lines... he was so damn sarcastic i just thought "damn it, it's about time!" i mean seriously, it was just one thing after another!
okay, i liked the whole freaky volandra thing... but dang, was it really only jesse that snapped it out of her? i mean, nothing that michael said was of any significance to her? what the heck man?! shady days... well, i have to go for now, but you can bet that i'll be back later on... OH YES, I WILL BE BACK!!!
hope everyone has a great TURKEY DAY! enjoy you stuffing and all of that thanksgiving goodness... lol...

Ok, some thoughts on the ep:
Overall I liked it. Don't really like this whole focus everything on Isabel phase, but wasn't too bad. Michael had the lines in that one, though! WHEW...he was on fire with the comebacks and stuff! Had me
* Liz telling Michael to do the dishes
* Kyle getting upset that Iz didn't tell Max & Michael about Kivar
* Kyle then telling Max & Michael and his line, "What? Did I say his name wrong?" after the looks on Max & Michael's faces!
* Kyle's got it bad for Iz (asking if she's alright when Liz is talking to Max)...I wish they'd just hook up already and get Jesse out of the picture!
* The gang (minus Iz) watching the tape to see Kivar and Maria's face/Michael's reaction
* Maria and Kyle listening in on the parental conversations to try to figure out what's up
* Go Jim about throwing off Phillip for the time being! Good catch MidwestMax about how Phillip called Jim "Sheriff"...I didn't even catch that, it just seemed natural to me since that's what he is in my eyes. He needs his badge back!!!
* Kyle's "interstellar trio" line there to Liz/Maria
* Liz in detective mode
* Jesse being so clueless Kinda cute though...
* When Iz kisses Kivar after leading him to a secluded area and Michael's "That wasn't part of the plan, was it?" to Max.
* Thought Iz's breakdown in front of Max/Michael was wonderfully done by Katie! And Max firmly talking her out of having feelings for Kivar
* Loved the running back and forth and hiding with Max/Michael/Iz and Jesse!
* I'm not into this whole Iz/Jesse thing, but her line "He saved me" to Max at the end was just so sweet.
* Thought the special effects were pretty good
* Completely thought she was actually telling Jesse the truth at the beginning when she messed with the candle, until Max & Michael walked in...then knew it must be a dream!
* "That was different" You have no idea boy!
* That board in Phillip's office! Wish we had some more close-up shots of that to see what all there was.
* Did not catch Michael's "vibrate" line to Max about the phone! Too funny! He was on a !
* Michael wanting to scuba dive Wish we could've have a shot of them in wetsuits! YOWERS!
* And what's with Michael all of sudden remembering about Vilandra there towards the end when Kivar was threatening to take her??? Weird... Wonder if he made it up or what? Hope TPTB don't just drop that one never touch on it again.

Next week's looks GREAT! Love Michael's powers being all out of whack because he's jealous... You know, I didn't use to like Michael and how he was always so negative, but I must say this season he's REALLY starting to grow on me. He makes me laught and is even sweet sometimes. I'm liking this Micahel!

Yes, I loved Michael! And props to the writer - what better way to channel an unhappy actor's agressions than to give him every sarcastic line in the script!
I slow-mo'ed through the stuff on the bulletin board and here's what I found:
* There's a post-it with Liz and Tess's names on it. At the top is the word "conspirators". An arrow from Liz's name goes to another post-it that says "covering for Max" and "lies." And I think Utah is mentioned.
* Another one mentions Max's alibi as "camping" but then mentions a receipt from the Empire State Building in NY (better clean out those pockets better next time, boy ) with the dates in November of last year

Hey all... I was going to post last night but.... I fell asleep!
I liked this one.. I am getting tired of just the Iz stuff.. I never thought of her as a "main" character I seem to think more of Michael/Maria and Liz/Max (not in that order) but well ok.. 2 shows.. enough already...
I think we need more Kivar... He did a good job... and boy does he have Iz she didn't even put up a real fight... and saying she loved Jessy... Yes Iz... I love Kivar.. NO YOU DON'T... I also liked the running around for Iz.. trying to keep it all under control.... I liked it better then last week. I think.. NO I KNOW we need more Max and Liz.. because phone conversations is getting old.
I thought it was funny, Jessy's face after they consummated their marriage... THAT WAS PRICELESS... He waiting long enough...
Next week looks real good.. FINALLY Michael gets his!
Well everyone have a good Thanksgiving... and be safe, don't run out to early on Friday... ITS TRADITION!!!

Something dawned on me today...actually it cracked me in the head like a ton of bricks.
If you were on an annoying "I've gotta find my son" quest like Max, wouldn't you have taken the chance to ask Khivar a few questions while he was here on earth???
