I am always feeling guilty over my lack of hospitality. There are lots of excuses I give. We live too far away, the house is a mess, what will I fix for dinner ( my friends don't eat venison and that's what my freezer is full of) and all the rest of them. But it still comes down to my selfishness and /or pride. So I 've been thinking. Why not invite a family for an evening with a good movie and homemade donuts or a baked potatoe buffet. Any one have other good ideas? I'll keep you posted on my attempt to be more hospitable and my goal to edify others. Robin |

What we've done sometimes (and this is really fun) is have a family over for a dinner-and-a hymn-sing-a-long. My mom is one of our church's pianists, so she plays piano while we sing. It's a lot of fun.
It's also fun to have a dinner-and-card-games night. You can set up different tables, if you have room, and have a different game of cards at each table. Then people can split up into groups and just plays games of cards. It give you a good chance for one-on-one fellowship too. Just some ideas Blessings, Deb ![]() "Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace: Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love. For it is in giving we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life."
