JC was not the messiah
Bs'd

Shalom dear readers,

Hereby I want to tell you about the one true God, and give you shocking facts and data that has been suppressed by the Christian church for 2000 years. This was done by, amongst other things, burning Bible translators on the stake, mass burnings of Bible translations and corrupting Bible translations.
But now the truth is out. Look here:

www.geocities.com/Metzad

Please send this message to every Christian & messianic Jew you know and/or post it on every messageboard you can find. One way of loving God is making Him known amongst the nations. One way of loving your fellow man is revealing the falsehood he has been exposed to.

Tenakh/Hebrew/Old Testament
Prophecies
Fulfilled by
Jesus Christ, Messiah

ALL of these prophesies were made hundreds, sometimes thousands, of years before Jesus Christ was born. Looking in the face of how He literally fulfilled them all (plus hundreds more), it is an impossibility that He is not Messiah, Saviour of the world. The ONLY person...past, present or future...who could fulfill all these prophecies is Jesus Christ. See His genealogy starting from faithful Abraham.
If you have questions about Jesus Christ, the Jewish Messiah prophesied in the Tenakh, please write Daniel Sims, a missionary to the Jewish people or visit his website, The Hope of Israel Baptist Mission. Their mailing address is The Hope Of Israel Baptist Mission, P.O. Box 911, Powder Springs, GA 30127.

You may also contact "The Everlasting Nation," (a.k.a. International Board of Jewish Missions.) P.O. Box 3307, Chattanooga, TN 37404.

For a closer look at the outrageous claim that JC fulfilled more than 300 messianic prophecies, look here: www.geocities.com/Metzad/324x0.htm

Quote:
Gen. 3:15.....He will bruise Satan's head.....Heb. 2:14, 1 Jn. 3:18

The claim here is that the messiah will bruise Satan's head.

Here is the text, with context:
"13: Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this that you have done?" The woman said, "The serpent beguiled me, and I ate."
14: The LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, cursed are you above all cattle, and above all wild animals; upon your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life.
15: I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel."
16: To the woman he said, "I will greatly multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children, yet your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you."
17: And to Adam he said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, `You shall not eat of it,' cursed is the ground because of you; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life;"

Anybody see a messiah in this text?

Who is going to bruise the serpents head: "15: I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel."

The seed of the woman. What is the seed of the woman? All mankind. What is the seed of the snake? Many more snakes.
So what this text here says is that snakes will bite men in the legs, and men will kill snakes.
That's all it says.
No messiah to be seen.

Unless of course you are brainwashed with the presumption that this verse MUST speak about the messiah.

But it simply isn't in the text.

Quote:
Gen. 9:26,27...The God of Shem will be the Son of Shem...Lu. 3:36

Here it is, Noah is speaking here: “He also said, "Blessed by the LORD my God be Shem; and let Canaan be his slave. God enlarge Japheth, and let him dwell in the tents of Shem; and let Canaan be his slave."

According to Doma, not only is this a messianic prophecy, but it also says that ‘The God of Shem will be the Son of Shem.’ Does anybody see anything like that in the text?

There is no messiah to be found in this text, and nothing that points to "The God of shem being the Son of Shem".

Pure Christian fantasy in a desperate deceiving attempt to prove that JC was the messiah.

Re: JC was not the messiah
"I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting." -Isaiah 50:6

Who other than Jesus had this fulfilled, but regardless. A man does not know light while he is in the dark.

I cannot argue something when you refuse to go in the light. I have met the risen Christ. Experienced His power, His annointing, His new life, and yes even His presence.

I left the Air Force to become a Catholic Monk. I had decided to become a Trappist monk in Colorado. I went there to make my final decision and liked eveything I saw, but decided to pray 1 last time if it was God's will. So I climbed up a mountain to pray and as I neared the top I expereinced the presence of God. And like Moses I took off my shoes and went bare foot to the top of the mountain where God spoke to me and I began to speak in tongues. I expereinced God's presence and he told me not to become a monk.

Many many times I have encountered the Lord Jesus Christ's risen presence, and have experienced His life changing works and have encountered numerous miracles and bodily healings.

no man can tell me Jesus is not the messiah. I have met Him.

The only thing that could convince me it was counterfeit is scipture, and none of my experiences, visions, dreams, or miracles were ever contradictory to God's word. God's word is highest authority and all experiences must be tested by Scripture. and it has passed.

Jesus is real.

Messianic prophecy??
Quote:
Gen. 14:18...A priest after Melchizedek...Heb. 6:20
Gen. 14:18........A King also........Heb. 7:2
Gen. 14:18...The Last Supper foreshadowed...Mt. 26:26-29

Bs'd

Genesis 14:18 “And Mel-chiz'edek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was priest of God Most High.” Is this a messianic prophecy? No! This is THREE messianic prophecies! We have here not one, but three proves that JC was the messiah. That is, according to the honest God fearing Doma. Anybody sees JC in this text? This speaks about the interaction of Abraham with an ancient priest. No prophecy about a future messiah. Another honest mistake? Or a dishonest one?

This selfsame text is also used for the following two “messianic prophecies”

Gen. 14:18........A King also........Heb. 7:2

Gen. 14:18...The Last Supper foreshadowed...Mt. 26:26-29

A king also? What does that mean: “Also”? Was JC ever a king? If we have to believe the NT then he never made it any further than a wandering preacher and a miracle healer. Having a sign nailed above your head when you are executed that mockingly says: ‘King of the Jews’ does not exactly make you a king. It takes a little bit more than that.

From the fact that here is spoken about bread and wine Doma concludes that this must be a prophecy pointing forward to the last supper. Isn’t that logical? Why else would bread and wine be brought to Abraham? Of course not for trivial reasons like Abraham being hungry and thirsty. It’s obvious that Melchizedek bringing bread and wine to Abraham proofs that JC was the messiah. Why can’t those stubborn Jews see that?

Re: JC was not the messiah
So...you figure the whole point was just to speak of the normal relationships between people and mundane serpents?

I think that the context makes it clear that this is a prophecy, and thus more significant than a simple statement that all of her generic seed (i.e. all man kind) will hit everyday serpents with sticks from time to time, but hey, I suppose you are free to interpret all prophecy as no more profound or hopeful than an episode of 'Animal Planet'.
