Just a Thought
Hey, I was just reading some of the story posts and, well, I’m gonna feel strange saying this, right after all that stuff I said about the stats and stuff, but I feel we might need them. I guess I’m starting to understand why they’re there in the first place.
See, it’s not really much fun fighting all these digimon that show up if we we’re just going to let partners digivolve at the last moment. I think there should be a system where we can rank the digimons power against other digimon, that way we can figure out how easy or tough a battle is, or when they should really digivolve. Like, for example, a champion digimon who had been in that level for a long time would have an XP level of, lets say, 45, while a freshly evolved champion would have an XP of maybe 35 or something like that, and those digivolved with a digivice would be around 40 or so.
I don’t know, its just my opinion, because I think the time for digivolving might become confusing. I just feel there should be restrictions like how powerful a freshly digivolved partner should be and how strong he is to digivolve to the next level, so that battles can be more creative (and to prevent other players from Godmoding/ Godplaying). I don’t mean we use it all the time, but it’ll help in the long run, especially if the time comes when tamers are going to fight against major enemies. (i.e. the negative digidestinied, Disastermon or other tamers) And if your worried about the system, I can figure something out.
And also, may I suggest adding a little bit more info on PC and Tamers Digimons. You know, like attacks, attributes, elemental types and special abilities. Or making a separate forum for them just for reference.
Phew! Sometimes I just talk without thinking about it first. But I'm just giving out my ideas. And I just like to here how you guys feel about it.

Um I'm going to have to work out a system but your idea does have alot of merit and it is a good one. I would like to do something like that and perhaps levels would be a good idea and could be incorporated into the story with the new D-Gens the levels could come with or something. Could also have some humourous moments with people competing about levels possibly...
Um if it's alright I think I'm going to copy paste this into an admin and mod discussion and perhaps Elizabeth Master Tamer, you and myself could talk it out and think up a system that works or if we want to do this at all?
Okay I'm going to allow just us three and please will you two check this forum and we can talk it over and each give our opinions. Sorry to disclude others, feel free to post your thoughts and ideas here if you have them but this is a story planning matter so we'll be thinking it over.
