Just a desk job? Time and again, he'd frozen the frame, cycled back, enhanced or otherwise manipulated the image in one way or another. It made no sense. Samuel Jenner turned from the glowing screen and rubbed his eyes. It was precicely this sort of mission post-mortem he hated to the core. There were blips in the recording, gaps in positioning and color... hell in this case a pilots name had actually vanished from under the cockpit. It was screwy in the extreme. With a sigh, he picked out the four most glaring errors and sent the team leader the data-packet... John-somebody-or-other. His message was simple, we all make mistakes but this is to damn stupid. Somone on that team had manipulated thier 'black box' and forgotten about the report investigator. Jenner hated drawing the short straw. |
