Kane Angle.
Bring out Glenn Jacobs (that's the name of the guy who's Kane, isn't it? Well, it's the name I'm using) in Wrath-like attire and give him a Goldbergian push. Just have him mow through the competition, then join the nWo. (Well, I wasn't originally going to link the two, but what the hell?)

Concurrently, restore Kane to the broadcast and have him become an ally to Austin.

Then, through a series of orchestrated vignettes, develop a backstage rivalry between the new Jacobs' character and Kane.

Ultimately, Wight and the new Jacobs' character are meant to face Austin and Kane at a PPV. Anybody who interferes will be suspended for 2 years.

Anyway, earlier in the night we have a vignette which apparently shows Kane taking out the other Jacobs' character. When the actual bout is to begin, Wight emerges by himself to face Austin and Kane.

Then, naturally, at some point in the match Kane turns and poleaxes Austin, removes his mask, his attire, and reveals he's the other Jacobs' character. Through this method, they injure Austin for about a month; I figure in that time, the nWo can come to dominate the RAW-brand, and Austin's absence will help elevate the other midcard faces, such as Bradshaw and RVD.

The contingency here is if the other Jacobs' character doesn't capture the audience, then you just cut him without any damage done. But if he does, it's the perfect way to evole the man behind Kane.

On Wight, I think they dump "The Big Show" moniker and he makes a little spiel about how he used to be unbeatable as "The Giant" in WCW and they return to that. "The Big Show" has comical connotations; "The Giant" doesn't, despite the massive jobbing streak he endured during the end of his WCW-run. At any rate, it'll help to refresh his character.

Then you can have Jacobs and Wight actually tear through RAW with a bit of authority and credibility. Hell, maybe Ric Flair should even make a play to takeover Smackdown, leaving Austin and the Rock to be Smackdown's (and McMahon's) savior.

Then, just because I really don't like Austin, the Rock turns heel, joins the nWo, and caves in Austin's head.

On the nWo in WCW, I always thought it was a huge error that they didn't come to capture WCW. They should've ultimately conquered the Company, leaving the likes of Sting and a few faces having to fight for its liberation. In effect, it'd be the nWo angle in reverse and would've totally changed the perspective of the storyline, keeping it fresh and evolving.

I like your idea here for the Kane/Giant angle, including Paul Wight's going back to using THE GIANT, instead of "The Big Show". I never did care for the newer name.

But I'm not with you, where Austin is concerned, although I'd certainly like to see some more development of his character. I think he could really use at least *some* kind of change from the basic beer-swilling bionic redneck. He's been the exact same one-dimensional figure for a while now. He used to have fresh dialogues occasionally...now everything he says sounds pretty much the same to me.

As far as The c0ck goes, I say we make him dress up like a Nitro Girl & drop him off blindfolded in downtown LA around 2am. I think that I feel about the same way for him as you do about Austin.

As far as the nWo taking over wCw, I think that they came very close, until management decided to split up the nWo into about 5 different groups, like the Wolfpack, The LWO, & what I like to call the jWo...Jobbers World Order, complete with great stars like Vincent & Horace Hogan.

The Wolfpack was the ultimate bad idea, IMHO, because I felt that Sting was the one guy, along with Goldberg perhaps, that could successfully lead the rest of the faces against the heels. I didn't like the idea of having both a *face* & a *heel* nWo, battling for overall dominance.

So putting Sting in the red & black screwed everything up, I thought.

It's a shame Kane tore that muscle, I was really liking his "newer" persona that was being developed. When he did that impersonation of the Rock and Hogan, I was rolling. Wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit to see this guy with the title, he moves around alot better than the Underweartaker, and knowing Vince's penchant for having big men hold the title, he sure fits the bill. As cartoonish as the Kane character is, it's light years ahead to the demented dentist bit he started off with, Isaac Yankem.
