Keisler 5 speed?
Has anyone installed one of the new Keisler 5 speed kits in a RoadRunner yet? Any comments? I am considering one this winter for my 70.

I'm nbot a stick shift guy but I would like to know as that kit may convert me. It looks complete, question is that trans-will it hold up behind a stout big block?

Re: Keisler 5 speed?
I've been talking to Shafi Keisler about purchasing a complete setup for my 70 Roadrunner. He states that he has been have tremendous success with the new product and orders are really flowing in. I will be visiting Tennessee in mid-June and he suggested that I place my order within the next two weeks to ensure that it would be available. I will place the order shortly and let everyone know what it looks like when I get it home. Unfortunately, I am not ready to drop it in yet. I still have to build the motor (383 stroked to 480 cubes) so it will be a while until my project is complete. I suppose I could/should do a mock up installation to ensure that everything fits as advertised. I have an extra 383 block that I could bolt up the tranny and test fit. More to come as I get moving.

Re: Keisler 5 speed?
I think the tranny will be great for your set up. My Dad bought one for his resto-mod 74 RR and bought all the heavy duty stuff to support his 440 stroker 500ci motor with B1 heads so I think you'll be safe with their trans.

I would really like to put one in my 73 340 RR but I'm not sure if I could really use it yet or not.
