Light vs. Darkness Light vs. Darkness Sitting in the darkness On a night such as this The moon shinning on my long silver hair The wind stirring it as it took flight Around my body and through the air Glimmering against the back drop of darkness That is the night.... Tears come down my cheeks As I await a special one That I know will never come With legs folded ,I lean forward To touch the cold headstone And remember that now I am truely alone Our lives were filled With wonderful embraces and sweet delight But now I am left alone To face the cold hard night Oh,fate comes so swift to cut like a knife Love is only a loan from fate In which at any time it can take And leave chaos in its wake Ah, to wake! From this nightmare Then to fall into my sweetest dream Where the grey mist forms And you appear To wipe away my tears.... ~*Dove*~ "Fear the clothed housecat!" |
