Lily Anne Evans - Seventh Year
(OOC: Hey... I'm still editing her, but I just wanted to get something down... finally found my complete backup copy of her)

Player: BlueEyeWonder
Name: Lily Anne Evans
Age: 17
Year: 7th
House: Gryffindor
Other: Head Girl

Description: Despite being tall with a slender build, this is not the first thing you would notice about Lily Evans. Lily has long, flame red hair that cascades down her shoulders to her mid back, and bright emerald-green eyes set in a friendly face. Sometimes she wears it in a low ponytail at the nape of her neck, especially during potions, but more often than not she leaves it down. Lily tends to wear a sparkling smile, even though often she gives the Marauders the “Lily look” of “I-know-you’re-up-to-something-and-I will-find-out-about-it.” She moves with a rhythmic graceful stride with her red hair bouncing behind her and always holds herself as if she has purpose or task to do. The traditional wizarding robes are her main garb, but she’s been known to wear Muggle clothes at school occasionally now for she’s not intimidated by the stares of the Slytherins anymore. She has a small scar on her temple where Petunia “accidentally” threw a hairbrush across the room at her, but one must have to really look at her to notice it. The one thing she isn’t seen without is a chain-link bracelet with her initials LAE engraved on a single heart charm. It was a gift from her parents when she first came to Hogwarts and it’s been her signature piece ever since.

Personality: When she first became a Prefect, Lily was awfully strict about everything and anything. With the experience she’s had, Lils has grown more relaxed over the past couple of years. Fun to be around, she’s very well-liked with most students, except for the Slytherins who don’t respect her family heritage. Often she volunteers to give the school tours around Hogwarts to new students, for her outgoing personality makes her want to know the names of every pupil at the school. She does study though one couldn’t call her studious, for she’d rather talk to friends about the comings-and-goings at Hogwarts and fly on her broom as much as possible. However, due to her position, she tries to appear focused, even if at times it doesn’t work.

Feeling like the Hogwarts poster girl most of the time, Lily often feels pressure on herself to be the perfect student, the perfect daughter, and the perfect sister, even though Petunia, her older sibling often wished she had never been born. Being a muggle, Lily does feel a certain need to prove herself also due to her lineage, though the years and her friends have given her the confidence that she‘s needed to not think about that as much.

Lily is proud to be a Gryffindor, most of the time. The Marauders, especially James, can tick her off occasionally, and Slythies attempt to antagonize her, but usually she can keep her cool. The trademark of Lily Evans is her wrath however, for once the redhead’s temper builds, it’s hard to control her actions. She will not tolerate bullies, no matter what House it is, especially when the Marauders pick on Severus Snape, for Lily believes there is a natural good in him.

Likes: Charms, Dueling, Chatting with her close circle of friends, Quidditch matches (though she’s athletically challenged in the Quidditch department)
Dislikes: Her sister’s hatred towards her, being called a Mud– well, you know, and egotistical scruffy black-haired boys…

History: Lily is a Muggle born witch and was obviously raised in the muggle world and went to muggle primary school; this gives her an insight into both the wizarding and the muggle world, and an understanding that people in wizarding families dont usually have. She has many Muggle friends who she grew up with and who she hangs with in the summer, for they believe that she goes to a preppy boarding school for her education.
(elaborate about it later, just want to get it up @ the moment)

Although her parents were quite thrilled with having a witch in the family, her sister was not. Petunia used to take every chance to tell Lily what a freak she was. For a while that was her “pet name” as she called it, for she would answer to the name of “Freak” at home. That of course was when her sister spoke to her, but now that Petunia is at a Muggle college, she has practically disowned Lily and only comes home for a short holiday when Lils isn’t around. Lily does miss her, even if all Petunia ever did was pull her hair, lock her in different rooms of the house, and call her all sorts of horrid names, though it’s somewhat a relief. No more arguments, no more name calling, and certainly no more explaining to Petunia’s snobby friends on why she had faked her own death and had run away to her aunt’s house in Australia, (Petunia had told them all Lily had been dead) which certainly wasn’t true when she ended up coming home one Christmas eve and walking in on Petunia’s ornament exchange party.

Lily is still living at home with her parents when her sister isn’t around, and she plans someday of being a first-rate Auror. Encouraged to be whatever she wants to be, she often daydreams about conquering the evil in the world. She likes to get the best of both worlds – Hogwarts for the school year and Muggle life in the summer… for what could be more perfect?

Having spent six full years at Hogwarts and starting her seventh, she knows the Gryffindors rather well. Lils would risk her life for her Gryffindor gal pals, for their the ones that really “get” why she is the way she is. They also are a big help to cool Lily off when the redhead starts to lose her temper. Now that she has accepted the fact that the Marauder boys will never change, she has definitely become more understanding and has opened her friendship to them. She and Sirius are mostly friends - although sometimes they still argue about his manslut behavior, especially towards girls, but Lily’s favorite Marauder is Remus, for he is the most sensible one of the group. Having been a Prefect with him, he understands her need to set an example, but at the same time she gets annoyed when he lets his friends bend the rules constantly. Lily’s much more at ease now that she knows about his Lycanthropey, and has reassured him that she will stick by him, whether it is covering up his secret or making sure Severus doesn’t say a word. (ooc: Severus does know, right? I can’t quite remember) Peter is… well, Lily doesn’t quite know Peter too well, for he always seems to be the tag-along of the group – not popular or smart or funny like the other boys, but somehow he is always included in their get togethers.

James Potter is a different story, however. For the past six years James has been “the trouble boy”, who has gone from at first starting in First Year by pulling her red pigtails, to trying out new hexes on her when she isn’t expecting it, to bugging her about who she fancies. His egotistical, smirky face has always been in her bad book, but because of her friends she has tolerated him somewhat… and yet… something about him has changed. Since the “Remus” incident during sixth year, she has really noticed he is the stronghold of their Marauder group, and grudgingly she admires his loyalty to his friends, even if he can be quite a spoiled arrogant prat with a head so big she doesn’t see how he can get his broom off the ground. Perhaps he isn’t as bad as she’s always thought of him… though Lily will definitely need some more convincing for James to win her over.

Lily would like to think that she had no real enemies...however, that’s a false illusion and she is coming to terms with that. With the rising of Voldemort, Lily has realized that some of the students she calls her classmates will soon become her enemies. People like Malfoy already persecute her for being a muggleborn, and she's found a lot more of her peers are becoming abusive, and turning to the Darker Arts. One of those pureblood princesses, Narcissa Black, really gets to her, for the way the girl thinks she is better than everyone has started to get VERY old.

Now in 7th year she hopes to get good grades, be a good role model, find love… somehow (for she is a definite romantic!) and assist Dumbledore through one more year before she says goodbye to her beloved school. Many things may happen, but Lily Anne Evans is ready for whatever comes her way.

N.E.W.T subjects: DADA, Potions, Transfiguration, Charms, Muggle Studies and Arithmancy
