I'm wondering if, at this stage, the cheek on the right (as you look at it) is just a little too fat? The curve from the outer eye to the chin seems to swell out just a little too much to me. You may well sort that out with later shading, but I just thought I'd mention it!
Keep going, I'm looking forward to seeing this piece finished!

Lucie, your picture is coming along really well. One suggestion that I can see in the latest post is the bow tie. It really appears dark and your eye naturally goes there. I think either it needs to be lighter or the baby and the surrounding area needs to have some darker values to compete with it. Keep up the good work though. It looks just like the baby in the photo.

Lucie, you're picture is looking great. Kids are hard to draw but you seem to be doing good so far. I'll keep checking in to see the finished piece. Keep it up!

It comes along nicely, I think.
I don't see to much pink. Kids have always rosy faces when they healthy and full of energy
