Rumor has it Harry Potter has been cast! Apparently they're going to use the little boy from "Stepmom," who is American, although his mother (mum?) is British.

I didn't say I wanted her to be McGonagall, I just suggested that if she had to have a role in the film, that's probably the one she could play. (Unless they try to get away with making her Hermione )
I picture McGonagall as one of the teachers from my school... although obviously she won't be cast

I wasn't suggestion that you said that she should be McGonagall...I was just saying that she is definately not right for the part...or any part, excepting maybe Mrs. Weasly. Not Hermione, NO!

Well she couldn't be MRs. Weasly unless she dies her hair red,,and that wouldn't look to good. Maybe she will play the part of one of the talking and moving portraits? Who knows....I hope the person that they cast for Pro. Mcgonagall looks like what i pictured her as..Some teacher form my school
LoL...Yeah probably...Some unknown person will probably get the part. It doesn't matter, cuz I can't think of any actresses who have the right disposition.

The boy they chose to be Harry is perfect! At least where looks are concerned. I don't know too much about his acting skills.
I saw a publicity shot of him wearing those horn rim glasses. . . PERFECT!!!!
