Go back in time when London and other parts of Britain were experiencing great hardships. The war in Ireland had begun, forcing British troops to go into the northern part of the country and take over security and police work. Companies began the infamous 3-day work week in order to conserve electricity. Unemployment was at an all time high and those who did work went on strike at one point or another, causing many citizens to go weeks without petrol, television, electricity, heat, water and even garbage pickup. The streets were infested with large rats, and the only hope anyone had was that someone was watching over them to get them through this. Life was hard in the early 1970s
if you were a muggle.
The Wizarding world was still blossoming, not needing electricity or petrol or even television. The Wizarding families had all that they needed in their wands, their fireplaces and their broomsticks. Albus Dumbledore had just been appointed Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and everyone gathered round to see the great Quidditch World Cup.
No one realized that dark times would soon be falling over the Wizarding world as well, though. No one had suspected that a great wizard boy from nearly 30 years ago would emerge again with a different face, a different motivation and even a different name. The man would slowly collect his followers, waiting on the opportune time to show himself again, as the most powerful wizard around.
Come back in time and experience your own part of the magic. Become a student at Hogwarts and take part in Quidditch, Dueling, Classes, and even House Rivalries. Take part as a shopkeeper in Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade and provide witches and wizards of all ages with products to get them through childhood, school, work, or defending the Dark Lord. Or perhaps teaching would be more up your alley, providing lessons for children of all ages in school, protecting them against harm and teaching them how to defend themselves. Still not enough? Why not join the Ministry of Magic in one of the many departments available or become a professional Quidditch player and do your best to get your team to the World Cup. Or perhaps that still isnt what youre looking for, and you need an outlet for your more sinister side. Join hands with the Dark Lord and he will provide you with all that you need to be one of the most powerful wizards of the time.
