Madoria's Childhood Dollhouse Well, I have no camera myself...
My house is a Lundby house and it has to be from the mid 70ies ... brown orange and green and yellow are the colours used and also brown plastic front frame and orange roof.
Well, it does need some tender love and care as the roof needs to bee glued back on... the glue is still sticky but it can be taken off.
The model name is Gothenburg. I will try to find a pic off a similar house.
But here is a pic of how my house bathroom stuff looks like:
Oh yes, that is the really old Lundy, with brown doors and platic fronts.
The house I have currently standing in the livingroom, also has brown doors, but white plastic fronts.
I have a similar bathroom, wich is one I found at a flea market this summer, they furniture is yellow too, but the wall is different, can`t remember what color !
Re: Madoria's Childhood Dollhouse
Yes , I belive it is mid 70ies... but I do like it and I played alot with it ... my carpet at the large room upstairs is torn but I have the pieces at least.
Yes , that Bathroom they had in such many different colours / looks...
A look with wood and Yellow:
Red back and yellow: I recently found this toilet...
A look a saw for the first time today:
And finally Sandys Green inspiration look:
I have found the pics at Tradera, a Swedish aution site with a large Dollhouse section.
Re: Madoria's Childhood Dollhouse
I have the green set, the yellow one with red back, without the upper cabinets, didn`t know those existed
And I also have a white and pink set, that I have in the house next to me
Re: Madoria's Childhood Dollhouse
I didn't either know the uppercabs existed!
I am thinking about making a little page when I get pics of
those furnitures etc that I own but for now I can't make any pics... I really want a camera !
I have found one extra bathtub of the Blue / yellow version I own - sadly no white "duschslang".
It would be lovely to find old catalogues from Lundby , dated to know wich year a certain piece of furniture was made, wouldn't it ???
Re: Madoria's Childhood Dollhouse
Yes, I remember when I was a kid, I alway read in my moms old Donald Duck comics, and on the back there were pics of Lundby houses, and there also was that in my own childhood, unfortunately my moms entire Donald Duck comic collection got stolen about 15 years ago
I remember that when I was a child, the blue (almue) painted furniture was out, I have one set of it I found recently
and back then the sofas where all in flower patterns
Re: Madoria's Childhood Dollhouse
Yes my sofa and chair was flower patterns too , but I have made them in a solid colour as lost the little seating cousion for the sofa - I don't understand how it got lost ...
Well, here is how it Did look when I got it:
But I also have the Red Arne Jacobsen sofa and the Blue chair - 2 things from my first Dollhouse that I no longer have.

Re: Madoria's Childhood Dollhouse
My mum surprised me the other day, she bought a digital camera in Fakta, for dkr 200,- but it needs an USB port, and she does not have one, so it "lives" at my house, so I am taking pictures like crazy at the moment
My doll site is totally updated, with lots of new pics. and I am going to upload the dollhouse pics too, and give a link here.
