Mayer thread for the Technologically Challenged...
The title pretty much sums it up.
This is the thread for those of us who are technologically challenged, but would still like to enjoy Mayer media in it's higher forms.
Those of us with computers that are going on 8-years-old.
Those of us still stuck in the dark ages of dial-up.
You know who you (we) are.
We would like to hear shows, see shows, enjoy the full multimedia experience along with the rest of you.
We just can't.
So, if you're challenged (like me) post here, let people know what you'd like, lament your lack of technological knowledge, etc.
And if you are some nice, technologically-advanced person on this board (which is almost all of the rest of you), you can feel free to answer people, offer up b&p's and other ways from yester-year of enjoying Mr. Mayer.
And, who knows? Those of us without the technological prowess might be able to repay you with money. Or cookies. Or whatever we can work out.
Re: help
I am so glad that this thread exists- cause I have the same problems.
I have dial up. I have never got sendspace to work for me, the only thing I have been able to download is "hummingbird". Oh, and I have a broken cd burner. It's pathetic!
If anyone sells any live cds or something, please let me know.
Re: help
Nobody sells them or let me rephrase...no one is supposed to sell them, but if you are looking for anything in particular, most people will be willing to either send it to you over AIM or do a B&P.

Re: help
Would you like a few links to hear a live stream? OR, would you like a compilation of random interviews burned on a disc? (Links would be the faster option... I'll see if I can dig up the addresses for ya.)
I can't really hear/see any media on my computer anymore.
I seriously need a new one, I just can't afford it right now.
Everytime I try to even watch a video on youtube, my computer lags and I get a bunch of intereference.
It's so frustrating, it's not even worth trying.
Basically, I was just giving myself a little shout out to make myself feel better about not being able to share in the Mayer media joy.
Actually, a certain person was supposed to be sending me a package with some Mayer love in it.
I guess she forgot about me.

Re: help
Well, I'll burn the Reg's Coffee House for ya (I think it's 50+ minutes) and I'll tack on whatever else will fit. I'll put it in the mail on Monday.
I'll actually put it together tonight to make sure I don't forget.
Dude! She SO did not! It's just that I keep procuring more audio and video goodness that I want to share. The pile keeps growing. I just need to say "enough" and send it as/is.
These cloudy skies they change my view and everything comes back to you

Re: help
Sorry its the first time that I've read this thread, but I am more than happy to help in anyway that I can with sendspaces, AIM or B&Ps.
I've got videos(but my program only allows you to be able to watch them on your pc and if that's not a problem then I can do those) from whatever I've gotten my hands on from JM to JM3 to JM again, from fan shot to whatever I could grab from score1more4me or other sites. I've made about 12 DVDs from most of the stuff that I've gotten from score1more4me, about 4 of JM3 fan shot videos that I've collected from that tour and I've collected a bunch from this last tour and I'll be making DVDs from those. I've got audio concerts aplenty as well. I could post my audio concert list on here as well if anyone would like to see what I have.
Sorry again that I've taken so long to find this thread, but if you need anything I'm more than happy to help any way that I can.
