Merry Christmas
I am going to be away for a few days and won't have net access so I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Christmas for tomorrow.
For those for whom it doesn't have any religious significance I still hope that it is great day for you, and that it would be full of good food, good fun and good company and a time where you can be with those you love.
For those for whom it is a Holy Day, I pray that as we reflect on the miracle of the birth of Christ that you would feel His presence and that this would be a special time for you and your family.
And for my Orthodox friends I implore you, take advantage of some non-Orthodox friends and drop around so you can celebrate this wonderful day twice!
I hope tomorrow is a wonderful day for everyone, no matter what your circumstances, and wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
God Bless,
Ser Cam
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them,
“Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”
