Just sharing a lovely message from RavenBeauty, Soapcentral's official "scoop & spoiler" columnist, which appeared in her new commentary dated 4-26-08:

[I also want to send out hugs to Hillary Smith this week (Nora/OLTL). Hillary has a great many fans out there who had been waiting for nearly 4 years to see her finally get a story. It seems almost surreal that an Emmy award winning actress of her stature would be back burnered as she had been so unceremoniously for nearly 4 years. As you all know we had two major hurricanes to deal with in this country (one was called Katrina and the other was known as Dena). Once Dena was eradicated, fans got their wish and Nora was front and center once again thanks to Ron Carlivati. I know that I speak for a great many fans when I say that we are just thrilled to see you working again and absolutely adore you. You are a class act and a lovely person (and I've heard this from just about everyone who has come into contact with you). For anyone to accuse you of not caring about your fans or dissing a particular fan base is just unconscionable. I think sometimes we need to put down that giant microscope and stop over analyzing and reading into things that aren't even there. We are lucky to have you at OLTL and even though I would personally love to see Nora and Bo back together, I will happily support your current story because I'm just thrilled that you have one! You don't owe any of us an explanation for doing your job. Of course you are promoting your current story...you would be crazy not to. Real fans will be thrilled just to see you front and center again. Please know that you have so many fans that think the world of you. We are just thrilled to see you and Cat working again. Most of us get it. We really do so no need to have to explain a thing here.]

Wonderful Message
thanks for posting this. Hillary is a class-act; there is no doubt about it. Regardless of WHO her on-screen partner is, I am thrilled anytime Hillary is restored to the frontburner where she spent so many wonderful years.

Jerry Ver Dorn is a FANTASTIC match for Smith's character. They show a maturity in this relationship that is desperately needed and reflects a much-needed change in Nora's character direction.

As much as I appreciate the talents of Smith's prior romantic co-stars, I am always open to taking a new journey on a new path.
