Here's what the Cleveland Cable Guide said (don't read if you don't want to know):

Michael takes a second job as a security guard

Hmm, that'll really drag in the viewers.... :lol

You can pick on me Karen, though I won't post on this thread all that often. I have to congratulate you on the Indians winning their first playoff game today. The Angels fell apart the last month of the season.

Although IMM, as a National League fan, probably saw Barry Bonds more than you, an American League fan. But since he broke the season HR record, I feel compelled to post a picture of me and Barry Bonds from a scene of 90210 where he played himself playing in a father-son golf tournament with Steve Sanders and his dad. That's me in the blue shirt picking up my golf clubs over Bonds' left shoulder.

I can't pick on you, Ryal - I actually like you. :lol

Wow - a brush with greatness! No, never got to see Barry Bonds at all, not even in interleague play. Awesome, though - I think he handled himself better than most people would have given him credit for. Yeah, the Indians blanked the Ms. What's up with that? I have a feeling about the Tribe, the same feeling I had in 97. We'll see... :) Oh, and I have to thank the baseball PTB for giving us a day game so it was over by the time Roswell came on!

ALL I CAN SAY IS GO DBACKS.. YES Ryal.. I have seen Bonds play.. I can't say that he is one of my favorites... I am happy for him to have broken the record.. once in a life time chance.. I wanted to go to the game on Wed. but well a big test on Thursday... damn school!!!
I did get Johnson's autograph on Sept 30. (my birthday...) I would have rather seen Matt Mantei... Oh.. I did!! And just to let everyone know... he is still a VERY handsome man! ha ha...
Karen I did see B.A. he is so liked by the fans!
Well Hope all are doing well.... Take care...

God bless the USA!!!

UPN has the promo up for any of you (and me!) who didn't get to see it on Tuesday. Here's the link:

Sorry, ladies, no shirtlessness or nudity, however. :lol

BTW - I think I'll drive to Buffalo this afternoon and find out why Brian is in hiding... ;)

IMM - Way to go Dbacks! ;) Got to see BA pitch...and give up a home run. Nice to see he's still the same guy he was when he was here! :lol Hope the Dbacks go all the way - I hate St. Louis.

Re: Michael, the Guys & the Great Snapple Caper
hmm... i don't know if i would consider it totally bad, but i suppose that there can't be action and excitement in roswell all of the time. it's like, aren't the aliens ever just, i don't know, bored? LOL... 0]

eh, i was just happy to see the valenti men back on the screen, kyle is so cute! :) did you guys notice how they tried to keep it "authentic" with the whole "grease-on-the-hands-and-face" thing? nice touch. it would've been funny if they showed him biting into a sandwitch with a light grease stain on it! :lol

oh, and looks as though michael is growing more and more of a, what? what was that? oh, a conscience! :rolleyes

our poor max is fading... is that makeup or has jason really been suffering from sleep deprivation? j/k ;)

i don't know, but something's bound to happen soon... at least i hope that it does!

Re: Michael, the Guys & the Great Snapple Caper
Okay, it's 3:30 am and I am awake for some friggin reason, so please read with caution...I could be sacrcastic and a little cranky. :lol

* Gee, I don't want my parents to know I am dating an older man, so I think I will meet him in a public place and make out with him.

* So, Kyle can 'barely make ends meet' but he still has the cash to eat out? I remember first starting out on my own and 'barely making ends meet' meant macaroni and cheese five nights a week. BTW - I get the feeling something was cut out of that scene. Not sure what, but it just felt like it.

* Is it necessary to tell us in every episode that Jesse is 26? And 26 doesn't make him Father Time, for God's sake.

* News Flash! Did you guys know that there is a black man and a Latino on the show now? I didn't until the script so deftly pointed out the obvious. Ron Moore, you're a moron.

* Could the thing with the hang glider and the wall mural get any cheesier? Does this mean that Max was making Liz see the messages on the wall mural? If so, does that mean he has some kind of mind-control power now?

* I think the conversation with Max and Michael about returning the Snapple was supposed to be funny...but it wasn't.

* Jim's new career frightens me...especially since ep 10 (or something like that) is called "Behind the Music". Please, God, let what I'm thinking be wrong... :lol :lol

* Speaking of frightening, what's up with Liz's dad? And could John Doe over-act that part any more than he already is? I used to kind of like Mr. Parker, but jeez, he's turned into quite the monster. It makes it kind of hard to be sympathetic with him and see where he is coming from. Even though we are supposed to believe his actions are in the best interest of his daughter, at this point he's just coming across as a jerk.

* I think before Max can explain to Michael that what he is feeling for the guys is "friendship", he might want to go get some friends of his own to experience it first hand. I thought back over the last 3 years, and I can't remember any of Max's "friends"...

Wow, I'm just a big puddle of negativity about this ep. :eek Hmm, must dredge up something nice to say... :)

* I liked the flashbacks in the beginning when Michael (or suddenly "Mike" to the non-alien world) was interviewing for the job.

* Kyle was funny when he ran into Jesse and Isabel in the store. My imagination, or did he look a little jealous then and when he was talking to Isabel in the Crashdown later? Couldn't tell if that was it or if he was just preoccupied with what was going on with him.

* Cow Patty's? :lol

* :lol at Maria's remark about going 'biblical' when Michael said they all 'drank of the Snapple.' :lol

Sorry, guys, I know this sounds like I am really slamming the ep, but I didn't see much good in it. As a matter of fact, when it was over, I kind of understood why some of the actors didn't want to return. The writing is bad. It was bad last year and they kept the same writers for this year. Good actors can only do so much with bad scripts. :( Let's just hope it gets better.

I need sleep...

Re: Michael, the Guys & the Great Snapple Caper
uh, yeah... now that i'm taking a study break from midTerms..

LOL, now that i think about it... :lol i don't know what's going on at all! j/k... the thing with valenti scares me, granted that i was glad to see him back on the screen, but dude, the whole "cow patty" thing is like???? sure, is this some kind of a mid-life crisis/i never fulfilled my high school dream thing? :lol

the thing with kyle being jealous... i kinda wouldn't blame him! poor guy never gets any action! oh well, i guess he has buddah so all is fine... or something... :lol

the mural... i was wondering, was liz the only one who could see what max was doing, or was she the only one who noticed? hmm... :\

BTW... what happened with the ms. deluca and jim thing? maybe i'm just having a memory lapse or something but i thought that they were like dating...

okay, i have to go... the wheels in my mind are turning in the wrong direction... i have to shift them back to midterms... take it easy everyone! let's hope that this was just some lame attempt to advertise snapple and not a serious attempt to gain more fans... 8o

Wow.. hmmm I think I am speachless.. I did like the Max/Liz stuff.. no surprise there.. I think with the lack of it last season... hmmm but well is it me or is the show just not, Oh I don't know.. I used to like it when it was kinda a mystery thing.. You know... clues.. put the pieces together... etc... now its ummmm a bunch of crap... Liz's Dad.. woohaaa.. what a jerk... I mean.. does he look like a mad man or what? He also looks like he is sick... I mean real sick.. drawn out.. drained... just sick... I know this is leading somewhere.. but come on... CAN YOU SAY PROZAC????
I kept waiting for something to happen last night.. but nothing.. and umm wouldn't Max/Liz have seen Phyco man there sitting.. I mean he was in plain sight.. Forget about the FBI.. we have Psyco Dad...
I don't think this was a good one.. even maybe the worst... but hell we still have a whole season to go...
Well maybe next time...

GO D'BACKS!!!!! just thought I would add that... My favorite starter starts tonight.. hope he can get a win...

May the little creature not be Max's...

Re: Michael, the Guys & the Great Snapple Caper
My $0.02...

-Ok, it wasn't too great, but I kinda liked the comedy relief. ;) And, of course, I liked the M/L stuff, too...and I didn't even think it was THAT cheesy. :lol Do I need help? I think it's like IMM said, anything is good since there was such a lack last season. :b

-I laughed my ass off when Kyle saw Is/Jesse in the store... :lol :lol :lol Too funny!

-Laughed at Max "signaling" Liz with the alien on the CD wall. :lol And I was thinking also if this means he's got some new powers...or could everyone had seen it and she was the only one noticing??? Hmmm.....

-"Kit-schickers" !!!!! :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol LMAO As opposed to "sh!t-kickers"... :lol :lol :lol

-Nice to see the Valenti's again, especially Kyle - what a cutie and sweetheart when he said, "Good for you" to Is. :) Karen - his hair didn't look too bad, huh? ;) Poor guy though, he's the only one not WITH somebody... :(

-LOL at Isabel's "Is this Buddah?" and "Could you please" comments!!! :lol

-Ok, the song SUCKED...how could all those people be clapping along??? :lol

-I thought the scene with Max/Michael & the Snapple was kinda funny...Max's faces mostly.

-:lol at Max asking to crash at Michael's & his face when Michael asked/said he gets car privileges... :lol :lol ;)

-Yes, Liz's dad scared the CRAP out of me...he's wigged out!!! :eek And I can't believe they've already submitted the application to this school in Vermont... I think something's up with him though, like he's possessed (evil alien?) or something weird (see ep description I found for next episode "Significan Others")...

-And, yes, the 'biblical' comment by Maria was funny, too! ;)

-Unbelievable that "Mike" is actually getting a conscience and feelings... :eek WOW. :b

-Hanson... :lol Just something about him as Sheriff doesn't fit.

-Thought it kinda sweet that Michael had told the guys about Maria. ;)

-Was wondering about the Jim/Amy thing, too. ????? What happened there?

BTW, noticed that no fry/fry thing with Isabel when she was talking to Kyle in the CD, too, Karen, and that Michael's apartment seems to have morphed again... Either that or it's from a HUGELY different angle. :lol

Off for now...
