Ladies, please keep my grandma in your prayers. She is battling cancer, and she fell about 2 weeks ago, giving her hip a hairline fracture. Well, it's turned into a total break now, and she's in the hospital. She's 85, very small and frail and is going to undergo surgery this afternoon to replace her hip. This is hard my grandpa as well, so please pray for him too. He's also 85. Keep my family in your prayers too, we're all rather concerned over this. Thank you! Praise God! She went through surgery, and did very well. She's now in the hospital, for about 1-2 weeks, so keep praying for her, but hopefully the worst is past. She told my mom that when she was being wheeled into surgery, she thought she wouldn't come back out alive, but apparently God had other plans My grandpa had this surgery, and it helped him, so we're praying it will do the same for her. Thanks for praying, Mrs. Lyn, and please keep on! Blessings, Deb ![]() "Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace: Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; To be understood, as to understand; To be loved, as to love. For it is in giving we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; It is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life." --St. Francis of Assisi" |

Dear Deb, Just wanted to let you know that I will be praying for your grandparents. That's a rough surgery to go through when you're that old. Atlanta |

She went through sugery, and is doing fine, she's now in a nursing home for therapy so she may end up missing my brother's wedding. That's means none of my grandparents will be there, because Dad's parents can't come due to physical problems too. But they'll be there in spirit. Just pray for God's grace for her, and patience. When you've been busy raising 5 lively kids and helping your husband run a 100 acre farm with lots of animals, making most of your food, clothes, things like soap, quilts, and growing a very large garden, it's hard to just sit and do nothing. My mom asked her if she wanted a quilt to work on, just so she could do something Just keeping praying for them Thanks!
