My favorite Boney album.....
What is my favorite Boney album? What's amazing to me is the fact that someone actually wants us to chose. I mean, come on, the boy is BAD. There's noone out ther like him on the music front. Kenny G tries, but I just don't think he has the soul that Bones does or really knows how to give his music the right type of 'flava' to make it, well, 'grooveable' in my words.
Ever since the first time I heard him (my first encounter with Boney was with the smooth, seductive 'Seduction' back in '95), I've been hooked, which is a bit peculiar being that I was only 15. What can I say? I've always been ahead of my time.
:i am in heaven when I listen to the ride cd.Every cut on that cd is dynamite.My favorite cut is Ride and every other cut runs a very close second.It seems like every album is slightly better than the last although this may not be true.I love every Boney James album with my favorite groove being Nothin but love.
My Favorite Boney Album
My favorite Boney Song is 'Just between Us' from the Backbone CD. He gets down and acts a fool at the end of the song. I have yet to see him perform this song in concert, however. My favorite Boney album is Seduction. Everyone of those songs could have been a single. The whole CD flows together. I really really like to hear Boney play and would prefer less singing. Boney is playing though the whole album. He really gets into lights down low and Sara Smile when he plays them in concert. I would like to hear him play 'Seduction' and 'Got It Goin On.'

I agree with you. I would love to hear Boney play Seduction in person. Oooooo, the very thought of it.
Another thing. Probably the reason why he's never performed Just Between Us in concert is because he couldn't play both the soprano and the tenor simultaneously, like he does on the CD.

MY FAVORITE BONEY JAMES ALBUM IS BODY LANGUAGE. THE FIRST TRACK (ARE YOU READY ?) A QUIET STROM CLASSIC. I SAW BONEY IN WASHINGTON DC 2002. HE OPENED UP WITH ALL NIGHT LONG. LOVEFEST ANOTHER

I just bought The "Pure" CD yesterday and Mr. James has outdone himself! I have already recommended the CD to 4 people at my job after less than 24 hours of listening to it. A true EARgasm!

You listed 4 Great CD's there, but can you pick out 10 songs that you must have...if you were stuck on a desert island!
It wasn't easy for me, I had to leave off 10 other songs that are just as good as the one's I put on my, Desert Island Tracks .

I have all of Boney's albums and I love them all. I am looking forward to you going back on tour! We are expecting you Boney in June outside of Washington DC in Columbia, Maryland. I can't wait!
I just listened to the album with Everytime she goes away. I just put it in and let it roll! I also love Boneyism and so many more I can't even mention!
Boney is the Man

We are talking about "The Man Boney James", all of his music is just awesome. I listen to his music on a daily basis. You just can't enough of his music. The Man is B-A-D to the bone...

All are just over the top funky- but I love Boney's take on "Sweet Thing" bet Chaka smiles everytime she hears it! I know I do! Boney- please get back to KC- bro we miss you!
