My intro...
I thought I would let you all in on me and my family to get this board started!

I am a WAHM of 3 children. Ryan (Nov. '97), Micah (June '00), and Gloria (March '02). I am married to my wonderful DH, Shane and we live in WA state.

My two polydactyly children are:

:) Micah: born with an extra big toe on each foot. More like a big toe that got split in two half way up. Had the bone and nail removed at 9 months of age.

:) Gloria: also born with extra big toes like her brother. Her's are seperate toes entirely however. She also has webbing between the big toe and the next over on both feet and webbing on her hand. She needs 2 operations on her hand starting at 9 months of age...and then her feet at 12 months.

I want to add that my DH, Shane is geneticly responsible for the kids having this...::) He was born with extra toes & fingers as well as webbing on both :eek
