NEW Sci-FI CAMPAIGN!!!!!!!
I just want to pass a few things on that I am not sure if anyone here is aware of or even cares about anymore. This is all information a friend of mine that is close to someone who works on Roswell:

It is very important that we get as much mail as possible
to Fox TV right now. Since they still have not made any statement about
The future of Roswell after UPN's cancellation, I believe that they are
still considering whether or not to keep the show in production in some form and try to sell it to another network. Remember, it is to Fox's
advantage to continue production of the show because even with the ratings that we have drawn, Roswell has ALWAYS made a profit for Fox. This is extremely unusual for any first run series, let alone a seemingly low rated one.
I suggest you spread these names and addresses to everyone you know
It's important for Fox to get mail because they are the people with the final decision as to whether or not a third season gets made because they are the ones who pay for the production. Even if the Sci-Fi channel gives an order for new episodes, if Fox doesn't believe there is still enough support for the show to continue to make it profitable for them to produce, they can turn down Sci-fi's order and the show is gone. Also it is unusual that Fox has made no statements about the show's status since UPN's cancellation and that the cast has not been released from their contracts. The most likely explanation for these two facts is that Fox is still considering producing a 4th season of the show.

Here are the addresses:
Mail should be sent to:
Twentieth Century Fox Television
10201 W. Pico Blvd.
Los Angeles, Ca 90035

The mail should be addressed to:
Gary S. Newman, President
Dana Walden, President
Joel Hornstock, Sr. VP, TV Production
Scott Vila, Sr. VP Drama Development
Bruce Margolis, VP, Production
Jane Leisner, Dir., Drama
Glenn Geller, Mgr., Drama
Bridget Hegarty, Coord., Drama

I also think we should be sending mail to Jonathan Frakes, thanking him
for fighting for the show's renewal and stating our continued support.
Mail to Jonathan can be addressed to his production company.

Goepp Circle Productions
c/o Paramount Pictures
5555 Melrose Blvd., Cooper Bldg. #116
Los Angeles, Ca 90038

They also told me this:

I learned a couple of bits of information today. First the production office is still up and running at full force! I know this because I spoke with them this afternoon. This is VERY unusual. Normally they would either be closed down or they would be working with a skeleton staff and people would be answering their own phones. However, they still are FULLY staffed. I also learned today that we, the fans, totally disappointed UPN recently. They were expecting, and I think hoping, to get swamped with mail. They even hired an extra person for their mailroom to help handle the mail that they expected to receive from us. Now , they've laid of the extra guy and have moved on. I say we need to start flooding Fox TV with tobasco.

The fundraiser won't get the attention of the UPN, Fox TV or any network in the way that we are hoping it will. It is a very worthwhile cause but in the long run, that would end up being considered as receiving 1 letter. The same goes for the petions in many cases. I think if Oprah does something with the e-mail that was sent to her...that MIGHT get noticed. What I don't think people out there understand is that to a company like Fox, even if we raise $500,000 in the fundraiser, that is still chicken feed to them. They write $100,000 checks for a table at a charity event all the time. I'm not saying anything negative about the campaign crew and others because I do want the charities to be helped. They know that what they are doing will help people, which is completely true, so they don't want to be discouraged from their course of action. But I don't think they will ever truly realize that. Fox is still quiet and that is very good.
