NTLDR

I just attemted to install windows xp on my computer when i the computer rebooted the first time it said NTLDR couldn't open drive multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1). How do I fix this proble my system restore cds will not even boot. Please explain it to me like im 4 so i get it done correctly please.

It would seem that the problem is caused by an incorrect HDD / CD-ROM setup.

Check that your HDD is Primary Master on IDE1
