New Site.
Things are going to be slow going at first, but after enough people have transfered over and the ball gets rolling, I can work on things here and there more.

Mods.. after I see that you have joined the new site, your powers will be reinstated.

Psi.. I will get to you on your status as well.

Many thanks go out to Kurgan for his help.

Well here it is in it's beginning glory.. the new home of The Gate. Enjoy.

Excellent.

I like the color scheme.

I'd like to recommend that dead stickies don't migrate over.

Just waiting on my confirmation email.

I'm excited, it's like moving to a new house! Gobbo, get my things packed, and be quick about it! ;)

If I can get 84 more posts in, I'll make 5,000 before we switch over.

Re: New Site.
Sorry, I had posted the sticky before I had actually unlocked the new site.. didn't expect people to rush over so fast. LOL

Everything should be up and going now. Oh and Tank.. Spam to your hearts content..

I am leaving this forum open for a few more weeks before locking it down and just leaving the thread with the new addy open for those to post in if need be.

Since not everyone comes to the general discaussion thread, I plan to post a sticky on every thread with the new home addy.. so one way or another everyone will see it. ;)

Re: New Site.
Magick, for some reason, most likely operator error, I am not getting a validation email, even after resending from the board.

It's possible I input my email address incorrectly, but I can't seem to check if I did or not.

I have started new versions of most of the pinned topics in the new forum so please direct your responses there. There were some other topics that begged for pinning but I thought I would let their esteemed authors start them first to give credit where it should lie.

I'm moving over to the new site! I'll check back here every once awhile, but I won't start any new threads here.

I don't think your automated validation e-mail thinga-ma-jig over at the new site likes me. It's been many hours and still no validation e-mail. And no, it's not in the spam box.

The new site doesn't seem to like me either. I seemed to have created an account all right, but whenever I try to make a post or topic, my computer sends me an error report and shuts down the browser.

I'll see you at the new site.

I've been on this forum since 2000, I'm going to make 5K worth of posts before I go.

Last one out shut off the lights.

I was away for a couple of days. I should have known that I'd have missed the grand opening.

I'll be over as soon as I've packed everyone's bags.
