New to the RR scene...looking for '68-'70 with AC - rare?
Might sound silly, but I'm looking to find a RR (preferrably a '69 vert) with factory AC. Seems like 1 out 0f 20 cars that I find have factory AC and then the AC is typically not working or incomplete. How rare is AC in a RR? Anybody know the production figures?

Not sure on a number but an A/C RR is a tough score. Happy hunting.

A Vintage Air conversion might be the answer.

Re: hens teeth
My first RR vert was an a/c car....if I only knew then what I know now...

After two years of searching for a nice ragtop with a/c, and passing up two MINT non-a/c cars, I gave up and picked up the third one I found...non a/c of course, and in Miami Beach, that means that July and August are spent in the garage.

If you find a numbers matching RR convertible with a/c...get it no matter what. You can always change the color.

You can't convert a non-a/c car into an a/c car and remain correct because you have to hack up the firewall.
