Nikon D70 Digital SLR camera for sale
I'm looking to sell my D70 as I want to upgrade to a full frame camera (aka Canon 5D). D70 works beautifully - all the shots I've taken of everyone over the last 12-18 months have been take with this camera. If you wish to see some sample shots I'm happy to provide them on request. Details as follow:
- Nikon D70 body, with latest firmware upgrade (version 2.0) - (D70 Review)
- Still under extended warranty (Ooops, sorry, it'a actually 2 years as of the of April)
- Nikkor 18-70mm lens with hood (18-70mm lens specs)
- Tamron 70-200mm lens with UV filter and hood (70-300mm lens specs)
- 1 Gig compact flash card
- Cordless remote shutter release
- Battery, battery charger, all cables, etc
- Nikon Picture Project software (to convert RAW files to JPEG)
Also included are all the original boxes and manuals.
The camera body is as new (no scratches or marks), with everything functioning perfectly. The sensor was professionally cleaned by Maxwell (Australian Nikon distributors) after 12 months of ownership (cheap insurance) which was about 4-5 months ago. Both lenses are also perfect (again no scratches or marks) as is the UV filter.
Price: $1600 firm (+ freight if necessary)
As a comparison, the newer D70s (has a larger LCD to view shots, different flash and higher capacity battery) retails for at least $1800 with only the 18-70mm lens (D70s from camerastore.com.au). You don't get a memory card or the remote shutter release with that either.
