I just can't fathom drinking beer from a straw, though! Beer has always been the beverage primarily of the so-called "lower classes", but from what I know, it also was one of the primary sources of protein for them as well.

Personally, I've never much been one to enjoy beer... like most of us, I drank my share during college, but not much after that. I prefer wine - white zinfindel is my personal favorite!
